CC if you go all the way up Master Gardener, will you have the time for it, between work and your farm? Or do you want to take the initial course to learn more about trees and soil? I say take the initial course, then decide if you want to go all the way to Master Gardener.

Good Morning all!
Everything is by the coffee pot with water reservoir full so go ahead and make a cup then go sit on patio to enjoy it in the chill of the morning- 67 here but by later on it's suppose to get warmer then over the weekend the humidity level is back in full gear and will raise temps back up. I don't know if I'll be on at all this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) seeing how we're going to be getting the yard ready plus get the pool set up for the party next weekend. The umbrella for the table set is going to be coming tomorrow and during the week the HUGE party tent (10x30) is going to be coming.

Is the party for anything "special"? Should be a fun time -- no matter what/why. 😁

It was cooler this morning. That's over! 🤣🤣. But a little touch of chill was pleasant for chores. Triple digits for weekend, they're saying.

I'm heading to work in a few. Enjoy your day, everyone.

Not for anything special but here's the menu; RIBS, SMOKED CHICKEN, SMOKED MEAT LOAF, SMOKED BACON WRAPPED BOSTON BUTT, SMOKED BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN BREAST BITES,BOSTON BUTT, HAMBURGERS, HOT DOGS, SMOKED SAUSAGE, HOMEMADE MAC & CHEESE, SMOKED "APPLE PIE" BAKED BEANS, PASTA SALAD, GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE, MAC SALAD. That's just for beginners seeing how i don't know what else is going to get brought. I'm hoping ppl will bring some sort of desserts too. Right now the only thing is S'mores later on that night.

to the extent anything is going to take me away from gardening and getting projects done around here i would not be able to do it.

looking at their listed possible time commitment even after going through the coursework i would not be able to keep up a certification. several weeks a year isn't something i could do (even if taken a few hours here or there) just due to scheduling issues or emergencies and such. i just could not commit to being able to get away.

it says that classes are mandatory, right now you have animals that may be doing random animally things, so to me if i'm shelling out $ to get a certification and going through training, classes, and projects away how am i going to be able to have someone available on an instant's notice to cover for me at home?

Well @CrealCritter ,,Ya there is that,, I agree with this too,,,,, being overwhelmed is not good for the "temperature" in the house,,,if you know what I mean

I was thinking the same thing. However her right arm is bandaged. I keep a pocket knife in my right pocket. So Rule #9 should be never go anywhere without a knife in BOTH pockets.
