We found another dead one.

Tally so far--three live kittens.

Kitty still looks big. We hope she has had them all. If so that would be five kittens for her first (and we hope only) pregnancy.

We don't know what we are going to do with the kittens. Would Abigail like one or three?


We didn't eat the egg, tossed it out.

Abigail would love a kitty or three, however, her mom and dad DO NOT want ANY AT ALL! One of our neighbor's cats is pregnant and she was slyly asking if we wanted any. I immediately turned her down. Yeah, three fish is more than enough for us. No other pets needed or wanted. Although someday we might get a Bryant fish too.

Dac, I regularly get yolkless eggs from one of my hens. I imagine it's one of my really old buff orps. Is age the reason the lay eggs with no yolks???

Our Dumb Friends League offers low cost neutering and spaying. They have a van that drives around to different towns. Charge 10.00 per plus donation if you want. I thing the girls can go into heat at about 6 months. We had 3 baby kitties from an abandoned barn cat and had them done. Now they live in our garage. Yes we are enablers.
