It makes me tired reading it too! I'm looking forward to the day that I'm done all of it. Then, I'll be able to put up a hammock, and sit back and relax while watching my horses.

Sounds like you have been really busy!

I've got to clean out the goat barn and just don't want to. Sorry about the cat situation. I'm not sure what to say other than they'll just have to figure it out...either that or someone will have to come home to you.

Maybe OFG wants to take one?

I got more of the stall done today. I'm about 2/3s done Stormy's stall. Tomorrow, I'm going to do it the smart way, don't know why I didn't think of this B4. I'm going to take the spear off of the tractor. Then, I'm going to drive the tractor up to the barn. And, I'm going to shovel right into the bucket. Once it's full, I'll take the tractor into the back field, and dump it. That should make it much easier, and since I had planned on getting it all out anyway, it will save me some time.

I would have had more done, but I had a slight change in plans. I was supposed to have a riding lesson tomorrow. I have 1 short sleeved, button down shirts still clean. I prefer wearing them when riding, so I left it for tomorrow. Plus, I was wearing my old boots. I was asked if I could do my lesson today instead, so I went ahead and did it. Hopefully, it's still nice tomorrow so I can get done.

Isn't that just how it goes!?!

You know, for months I hauled the goat crap in a wheel barrow down to the compost area and hauled my butt back to the goat barn.

When suddenly it hit me...why don't I just use the lawn mower trailer that's hooked up to the 4 wheeler and do it that way???

Now, I've taken it one step further and do what you do - park the big ol New Holland right at the doorway and shovel into the bucket, drive the tractor to the compost and I'm done in 2 loads instead of 10!

How are your Phillies doing?
The Phils are doing great! They just fried the fish (Marlins) in a 4 game series. They have the best record of ANY team in baseball right now, in both the AL and the NL! They've won 44, and lost 26. Atlanta is 5 games behind them in NLE, and Florida is at the bottom, 11.5 games behind.

Don't know how much I'm going to be able to get done today after all. It rained last night, and I think there's a chance for more rain today. Don't know how mucky the field is going to be. But then again, since I moved the gate, that means I should be able to get in the field. I just might not be able to drive the tractor all the way up to the door. But if I can at least get in, I can still load the stuff in a bucket, then dump it in the tractor bucket.

Sounds like your spring barn clean up is coming along! Congrats on the round bales for $25- mine were up to $40 last year and are probably going up again this year because of fuel prices.

wait - who'd trying to pawn off cats on me???

;-)
Glenolam. Don't worry, I won't let her! I need my cats here. They help me stay sane. I don't need them to become part of the insane cat posse! Next thing you'd know, I'd be wearing them on my head, and they'd be covered in foil!
