I basically got nothing done today. I was supposed to work w/KN today. She takes her motorcycle test on Friday, and isn't ready for it. But, she was unable to make it to the farm. RU is still away, so i have to feed all her horses. W/KN not there, I had to feed all the animals she normally feeds. Plus, I didn't get done work until late. So, by the time I was done working, and had all the animals fed, it was past the time that I wanted to leave. I came home, and finished loading the dishwasher. I was beat, so I figured I'd take a short nap since it was about time for hubby to be home from work. Well, he was late getting done, so I slept longer than I had planned on. And, I'm still tired. So, I decided to get caught up on all the posts here instead of doing any work. I'll get more done tomorrow, I hope. RU will be home late on Wednesday, so that means I won't have to feed her horses after that. I'll have to go w/KN on Friday when she takes her test since she needs some one w/a motorcycle license to go w/her, or she needs someone w/a truck to transport her and her bike. She passes her test, it will help me a lot! So, hopefully after Friday, my life will get a bit easier.
Everybody needs a day to get nothing done. Today was mine too. My brother perpetually has car trouble lately, so I am the chaffeur on short notice. Often. So I got nothing done either
Today I didn't have to feed RU's horses, I had KN do it instead! I honestly didn't have time. I spent I'm not sure how much time w/her this morning going over the motorcycle test. If we could have one more day to go everything again, it would be good. If not, I just hope she does OK! But, she did everything on the test. There's 4 parts to the test. If she does OK on the first 2, the rest is a piece of cake. The last 2 are supposed to be the hardest, they're not.
But, since I spent that time w/her, and I've been so busy, I haven't cleaned my field for a couple of days. I hope to get it all caught up again tomorrow. Don't know if I'll have time to work on stalls or not. At the very least, I have to get Misty's stall cleaned out!
I won't be able to work in my garden again until Thursday. I'll be doing as much as I can. I also have to pick my berries, and make some jam. I still haven't figured out what they are, but I'm figuring they're some type of raspberry. I have some red ones I know are raspberries, but the black ones, I'm not sure of. And, I still don't know where these berries came from. I didn't plant them, they came up on their own. I need to find a place to move them to since they're not in a good area, I just don't know where to put them!
KN just called, she doesn't have time to practice tomorrow. I hope I don't have to take off early on Friday to practice w/her, but if I have to, I will. In the long run, it will be worth it.
Another day when I hardly got anything done. RU is still away, but she'll be back tomorrow. I worked later than I'd planned on, so by the time I got everyone fed, I didn't have time to do anything extra. Then, I had to stop on my way home to pick up some money someone owed me for barn sitting. I'm planning to do some more of the dishes, but I needed to sit for a bit.
I can hardly wait until Friday. KN will be at the farm, and she's planning on getting there early. Once I have my guys fed, I'm going w/her to a vacant parking lot, and will leave her there while I go to work. She'll practice as much as she can on her scooter, then when I'm done work, we're heading to DMV so she can take her test! If she passes it, it will help me so much.
Plus, Friday will mean that I only have 50 days left of work. I am so looking forward to that. I have to stop. I'm seeing it more and more. I'm planning on taking a year and seeing if I can write well enough to get published. If not, I'll see if I can find a part time job that's not so physically demanding. But, I'd rather write if at all possible.
