And another day when I didn't really get anything done. I'm supposed to get done work at 12:00, I got done at 1:16!!!!! So, once I got Stormy fed, took care of my chickens, bagged some feed, fed the cats, put out hay and that was all I had time for! :barnie Plus, it was so stinking hot! So, I came home, fed the goats and rabbits, and am taking it easy.

Going to be a busy day today. First off, I'm getting ready to go out and attack the garden. If I really work hard, I should be able to get the majority of the rest of it weeded. It kinds of bums me that I have to. If I had had the time to get it all done B4, I wouldn't have had this problem. Once it's weeded, I need to find my seeds (or buy new ones) as well as get some plants. I tried to start them, and had no luck. I trash picked an old storm door, so next year, I won't have that problem. I'm going to make a cold frame, start the plants in that, then move them to my greenhouse. I have trouble starting plants in it because it's hard to keep it warm enough for the seeds to germinate.

I also have to make potato salad for a bbq. And, I have to go to my parents. My sister is down for a visit. This will be the 1st time I've seen her since my SIL's funeral.

I have not been able to keep up on cleaning my pasture this week. I was just too busy w/RU being away and working w/KN on her scooter. Then, yesterday, I went w/her to take her test-she messed up a bit, got nervous, and failed so she has to go again in 2 weeks. But, we're going to go to the DMV where they have the test tomorrow so she can practice there. Plus, I'll measure everything out so she can practice in the parking lot of an old store. It's kind of hard to practice when you don't really know how much space you need. The only reason I was able to pass was because I rode a dirt bike for 3 years when I was a young adult, so I found the test easy. So today, I'll be working on cleaning my pasture.

I also need to do some laundry and some dishes. I think both of them multiply when I'm not looking.

I'm down to 10 weeks left of work! And, in 5, I plan on telling her that I can't do it anymore. The other day, my MD was flaring. Plus, at times the Baker's cyst on the back of my leg makes my leg hurt. I think if I can stop working, both will calm down.

I tried to sleep in this morning, but wasn't able to. So, I guess I'd better think about getting up, and getting some stuff done.

Sounds like me. I announced last night that I was going to sleep in this morning and no one had better wake me.

Yeah, that worked out. I was up like a shot at 6. I tried going back to sleep but knew after 10 mins, it was a lost cause.

I've already started on my laundry, my coffee is brewing, I have dishes soaking (because I didn't do them last night) and and I've picked up the living room and the den.

Good Morning Deb.

I have trouble getting up during the week when I set the alarm, but Saturday and Sunday, I seem to have no problem at all waking up at 5:00 AM. :barnie :he :hit

I got more of the garden weeded, still don't have all of it done, but I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel. My way to weed is to weed until I'm in full sun-which is normally by around 10:30, then stop. So, I'm back in the house now, taking it a bit easy. I just might try and take a nap.

KN is having a problem w/the battery on her scooter. So, she and RU were going to go to the dealer today to have it checked out. RU went to DMV to register her scooter, and found out that they forgot to sign the title! So, she couldn't get it registered. And, I don't know that I can fit it in. But then again, if I don't, we can't go and work on her test tomorrow. Maybe I'll finish my potato salad now, and leave. Bummer.

I'd be careful about telling your employer about leaving the job before two weeks ahead of time.

Hubby gave an employer a month and a half warning once because he was a "beloved" employee, or so he thought. They got real huffy when he told them he was moving away, and let him go early! We were literally shocked and had counted on that last month's pay. He was able to use the time to pack our house, but still.....we learned a lesson. Employers are sometimes not your friend anymore when you tell them you won't work for them anymore.
