Today, not only did I get my field cleaned, but I also got Stormy's stall cleaned and got about 1/3 of Misty's done! I should have her's done tomorrow. Then, all I'll have left to do for the stalls is to get the rest of the old stuff out of Licky's. I've never gotten her stall completely cleaned since I've moved the horses there. I've gotten some of it done, but not all of it. But, as long as the weather cooperates, I'll be done all of that by the end of next week!

I also measured the small spot that I still need to put up fence. I have part of the one roll left, as well as 2 small pieces that were the ends of rolls. And, it looks like either one of the small pieces will be big enough to do that little section! I'll also put some at the waterer. It's in the fence line so both my horses and CL's can use it. But right now, the only thing over it is a piece of electric fence. And, the horses are getting kind of nasty right there. So, I need to fill that in. That will also be done next week.

Once I have those 2 things done, the only thing I'll have left that I can do on my own is getting rid of weeds! I'm not going to know what to do w/myself! OK, maybe I will. I'll finally be able to spend time riding, grooming and working w/the horses!

At home, I got some house work done but not as much as I'd planned. Instead, I spent some time playing the piano. I just don't have the time that I want to play. Hopefully, come fall, I'll be able to spend more time.

Outside, I got started putting the fence posts in for my garden. Much to my surprise, DH came out and helped me! So, they're all in. Some of the ones that I put in B4 will need to be redone. I didn't use a line or a level when I put them in and I can tell some of them aren't quite where they need to be, and some aren't quite straight. I'm not sure when I'll be able to do them, it may not be until next week. It's supposed to be nice on Saturday, so we'll finally get the coop and run done!

Isn't it nice when they just come out and help! Congratulations on getting so much done on your barn chores! I hope you do get to spend more time "playing" with your horses!

Same here! As soon as it's a bit warmer in the morning, I'll be leaving for the farm earlier. I can spend the morning out there, then be home by around 12:30, 1:00. I'll have lunch then, then do housework while I'm watching Murder, She Wrote. And, after dinner, I'll be able to spend working in the yard-at least for now. If I do work for the summer, that schedule will change, but it will work for now!

I was doing so good today! I cleaned some of my house. I got the field picked, and most of Misty's stall cleaned. (There's just a little bit in one corner.) I got part of the field weeded. I got a piece of fence put up over the waterer. All I had to do was get the tractor, heap up the manure, feed the cats, put stuff away and leave. Well, I got the tractor, got in a rut, and had the front tires turn, which in turned turned the steering wheel and wrenched my shoulder. I now have my arm in a sling and am not sure how long it will be B4 it feels normal. :hit So that means I can't do anything right now. The ER doctor basically told me see how I feel, and do what I can, but don't overdo it. So, I'm not sure what's going to happen w/my chicken coop tomorrow. My bike is out at the farm, the cats haven't been fed, and I'm not sure how I left stuff.

At least my son didn't get upset when KN called him and told him to come and get me. She and I were the only ones at the farm. There was no way I could ride my bike. She was on a scooter, and there was no way she could have taken me on that. Especially since I was in so much pain I almost past out when I first did it.

I took a tylenol 3 w/codeine, and figure that should be enough.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder but listen to the doctor a shoulder injury can be a real pain if you are not careful. How is your knee doing?

Knee's doing good. Shoulder feels better than it did, but I'm taking it as easy as possible tomorrow. Hubby, DD and I went to the farm. I got everything closed up, and fed the cats, then DD drove me home. DH was actually able to get my helmet on, so he took my bike home for me. I'll see how I'm feeling in the morning. I hope I feel good enough to take my bike out for feeding. Otherwise, the horses will have to wait to get fed.

Good to hear your surgery was a success. Shoulder's are a different story all together, they heal slowly if you damage it enough you require surgery.
