*hugs* on the family stuff, im sorry they cant get their heads out of their butts for just a few hours to help you out, especially when you REALY need it. id be making it clear that if they cant help they cant come...but im mean like that.

on the ride, i 100% dont blame you...they expect you to go out of the way, use your equiptment and then what? expect you to just sit in the car for the entire time cause you sure as hell cant ride with a duffed up arm!
id absolutly be telling them oh hell no...they want to use someone elses equiptment to haul their horses they TALK to the person who owns the equiptment about when they want to do the ride and see when it would be good for the owner of said equiptment...or they can buy their own!
good for you guys for sticking up and saying No...
hope everythigns secured so they cant just "borrow" it...
ugh
i realy hate inconsiderate people!

My arm would be OK for riding in calm weather, but there's no way I WANT to ride in that kind of wind! We'd be in the open, w/nothing to block the wind, and w/the sand, it would feel like we're being sand blasted! Not my idea of a nice ride. KN called, but I didn't answer. Now they're talking about just riding off the farm. I had suggested that, but she didn't want to. Now she does. Well, they'll ride w/out me. I've checked the forecast and they're pretty much calling for strong winds all day. I'm not up to dealing w/Misty in the woods and next to a road in that kind of weather conditions. If she spooks a lot, between my arm and my leg, I'm not sure I could handle it. There'll be other days to ride.

And, I can't just see them taking my trailer w/out my permission. I would not hesitate to call the cops. I've already told them they cannot use it if I don't go on a ride. I so want to get away from them. But, as long as I'm still on the farm, I can't. :(

I am hearing a whole lot of frustration and anger and I can't help but wonder: have you said any of this to THEM?
My guess is that they have no idea as to how you feel and they might just achieve some much needed enlightenment to hear you tell them on clear but diplomatic terms EXACTLY how you feel!
It seems to me you didn't have the happiest of Easter holidays.
Hope things go better tomorrow. I agree. The ride sounds like a bad idea when you are the one who has to do all the work.
Not a sermon, just a thought.
