i would be increidbly frustrated too...
if someones going away and expecting others to take care of thier animals during that time at the very minimum you xpect them to mkae sure thier animals are sceure and there is anough food for the entire time unless otherwise discused...
i definatly feel for you, theres no way i could "share" those kinds of responsibilites...my animals my work, your naimals your work...common areas are common areas but seriously...

*hugs more*

Deb, you really need to find a way to put this ongoing situation in your life's rear view mirror, just sayin', dear.

Jamie, I'm praying about it constantly. I need to find my own farm, and I'm seeing that more and more. Problem is the financing. I need to sit down w/hubby and really go over what we owe and see if we can't figure out a way to get out of the mess we're in. Of course if we were to win the lottery....

Hopefully that chasm isn't too big for one solid leap of faith to get across!

I know the real estate world is wonky right now, but folks I know "in the biz" are writing all kinds of contracts today (legal and tailored to specific circumstances). I don't know the differences in NJ vs OH real estate law, but there has to be an option that works for your situation.

Get a plan, pick a date, and make it happen!

Right now I'll admit to being a bit discouraged. But, I know God is in control and it will happen in His time. I just hope His time is soon!

:he disclaimer - I love ya as sister Deb... :barnie

The flood waters were rising to the house porch, a canoe comes by, the guys in the canoe, tell the homeowner to get in, it's time to go. The homeowner says no, go help someone else, God will save me. As the water reaches the second floor, a zodiac boat comes by, the rescue folks tell the homeowner to get off the roof and into the boat. The homeowner says no, go help someone else, God will save me. Finally, as the water is lapping the eaves of the roof, a helicopter swings in a rescue guy on a rope with a basket. Get in, the rescuer says. The homeowner says no, go help someone else, God will save me. Later that night as the house disappears into the flood, the homeowner finding themselves finding their Lord where they ask, why didn't you save me? The answer? What are you talking about, I sent a canoe, a zodiac, and a helicopter.

How do you know you already HAVEN'T been given the means? Or are you really just waiting for some specific solution from God that you have in YOUR mind? :idunno

We aren't mindless sheep waiting for a loving God to plop the solution done in front of us ready to go to immediately unwrap and use. Sometimes we get the direction and have to take the leap of faith to get to the destination.

I apologize for being so direct, you can ignore me from now on, I'm trying to speak as a friend here, not to offend.

Hugs. One of mine was out on the highway this morning, but was back in when I found him. I know he was out by the highway because the fence was down and I recognized his hoof prints on the other side. Maybe you need to have a heart to heart with this person. Sounds like they are kinda getting everything out of you that they can and won't stop until you speak up. She is bound to have known that they would get out and you would fix it if she already knew that fence was bad.

Jamie, I'm not offended. I'm seeking God's direction, but so far, every direction I've gone has been a closed door. There is a property that I'm interested in. (I posted a link a few pages back.) I've been wanting to call the realtor about it, but just haven't had the time. And while it's not quite what I'm looking for, for now, it would be perfect. And I know if it's God's will, it will happen. I've never looked at it B4 because I thought they wanted a lot more than they do. The price that they're asking is really good for this area.
