Not really. The forecast showed that we were going to get some heavy rain rolling thru, so I knew I was safe. I did wear my rain gear and went thru a shower. And, there were a couple of showers while I was out at the farm, but nothing major. I managed to finish the first third of the section I've been weeding and the rest doesn't look as bad! So hopefully by next Saturday, I'll be all done the weeding! :ya

I finally ate! For the first time in days I felt hungry. Maybe by tomorrow I'll even feel up to trying for a cup of coffee.

I still feel a bit nauseous, but not as bad. So, whatever I had didn't hit me too hard.

I'm hoping I feel really good this weekend. I have a ton of stuff to get done, and really need to get moving on it. I had so much I wanted to get done this week, and it didn't happen. Tomorrow's the first meeting of the year for my 4-H club, and I'm not ready for it!

Well, I didn't get everything done. I was just barely able to get everything done I needed to do B4 my meeting this morning. But, the kids seemed to enjoy themselves, so that's good. I've told them a little about what we'll be doing this year, told them some about the trips we'll be taking, we did our craft (which they really seemed to like), had a lesson where the kids were asking and answering questions, so I think it went well.

But the bad thing is, I'm feeling like I have a really nasty cold coming on. I'm not taking any chances w/it. I called Pastor to let him know I won't be there tomorrow, so they may not have PM church. (They don't always if I can't make it since I play the piano, and we don't have a lot of people out.) I have to go to the one feed store, so I'm thinking I'll hit that in the morning, plus see if I can buy a scale over in that direction. Then, I'll go to the farm, feed clean my tack shed, give Stormy his 2nd feeding, put out some hay (I'll be weighing it from now on), then go home and take it easy for the rest of the day. I may have to make a fire, but we'll see. It's going to depend entirely on how cold and raw it is in the afternoon. We have a storm moving in and it's not supposed to be very warm!

I slept all afternoon. Which, while it was good in 1 way, was bad in another. RU is away, so that meant I had to feed her horses. If hubby hadn't woken me up when he had it would have been way past dark when I got done. I hate to miss church, but I don't want to get anyone else sick.

I'm feeling better this morning-throat's not quite as sore, but I also feel like I'm doing something wrong. I KNOW I shouldn't go to church feeling like I do, and I can remember as a kid pretending I was sick so I could miss church. But now that I'm older, I feel bad if I miss it.

I'm just waiting for it to get a little later B4 I start moving around. The store I plan on looking for the scale doesn't open until 9:00. So, it does me no good to leave until then. But, when I get home this afternoon, I'll be baking a couple of loaves of bread. I have no bread in the house and have really been wanting some all week long, but was too beat to make any. Yesterday since I had no bread, I whipped up 4 pancakes fast, then put peanut butter and jam between them and had pancakes sandwiches. They were good and I'll have to do that again.

Hope you continue to get better. Peanut butter/jelly on pancakes sounds good. I know my grandkids would love that - I'm gonna remember that for the next time they come visit. :)
