Same here! I missed it. Thing is, I can sing either part. But, I much prefer to stay in the lower range. It's easier for me to tell if I'm on key or not.

I just don't like the way I sound. I was trying to get DD to get into the school chorus the other day. I always loved chorus :)

Well, hubby tried something today to make it warmer in here, and it seems to be working. He took the AC vents out of the ceiling, and put insulation in there instead. And, it's so much warmer in here even though it's cold out. I don't think we have a heater running and it's the warmest it's been in here in a long time.

It's snowing right now, but they're not calling for much. But, since I'm not expecting them to touch the roads tomorrow, I think I'm going to be leaving real early for church.

I hope you enjoy your new Church! We haven't tried to find one here yet. And I'm glad your house is warming up now!!!!!!

So am I! I just wish he had thought to do this last week when it was so cold! I never thought of those vents because they were closed, but he has some kind of laser gun that reads temps. He focused it them and found it was about 20* colder at the vents than the rest of the room! He did that while I was gone. I could feel the difference when I walked in the house.

OK, I'm beat. I'm going to stuff the stove and go to bed. Night, all.

Great idea on the vents Deb! I kinda wish we could check for heat loss here, but I bet it'd make me faint! :p

If it wasn't for the fact that I want spring, I'd almost want another bitterly cold snap to see how well they do.

Well, today was my first day in the choir, and I enjoyed it-especially since I have everyone telling me how nice it is to have a natural alto! I don't know about that, I never sang alto until I was in my 20s, and then could only do it if I had someone singing in my ear until I got the hang of it! I'm also scheduled for special music in a month and am looking forward to that. That was something I couldn't understand in my old church. They knew I was willing to do special music, but basically just stopped having any special music. :hu I've starting to meet more of the people, and am feeling more at home and less like I'm visiting. And, I have no desire to go back to the old church. This church seems to be what I've been looking for. Hubby's even shown some interest in it. I'm hoping and praying he'll decide to go w/me one day. :fl

We got some snow overnight, not a whole lot but just enough to make my road nasty. They don't touch it if we get just a bit of snow. And, it's a shaded road. So that means every place the snow doesn't melt off of during the day is ice at night-even at the intersection. So, unless I HAVE to go out, I don't. So, I'm missing church tonight. I don't like driving on that and there's places on at least one of the other roads that get icy patches on it.

I did a bit of wood today, basically just enough for tonight. I'll be doing more tomorrow. I was going to wait until Tuesday to get another load, but then I remembered that I have my doctors' appointments then, so I guess I'd better do it tomorrow.

It's supposed to start warming up, so hopefully, it won't be long until I can start to take the bike. That will save me so much money in gas.
