I like that layout. I like the property being behind the house. That could be a small potential woodlot on the right pointy end over there with proper maintenance ...
We have a lot of stuff. 485 sq.ft, we would fill that solid, floor to ceiling and be living in the tiny garage ... lol
I've been thinking, if I buy this place fl) I'd turn the garage into a guest flat. It has a door and window on the side and it would be fairly easy to remove the big door, brick it up and add a small bathroom on one end. The house has potential for add-ons as finances allow (eventually), depending on what is where in the existing house. We cannot figure out where anything other than the bathroom is.
The land, the bit over on the right would make a good area for goats I think... Chickens, veggies, etc in the middle and then we'll see how bad that boggy bit is (and if it's protected).
I phoned the agent yesterday to check in. Our potential buyers are still in touch, it sounds like they are very serious about our place. Their buyers however, are having a problem getting a loan though, due to a past bad credit incident, which they are trying very hard to "remove" from their record. Once they've done that they can get the bank to lend them money, proceed with buying our potential buyers' house and then hopefully our buyers will proceed with buying our place
Everything is interconnected like the pieces to a puzzle. Leave out a piece and you don't get the picture! I hope your buyers can sell their place, so they can buy yours, then you can go!
Fingers, toes and eyes crossed, please everyone. The (not good) agent just came round to tell us he's going a buyer for us, definite, done deal. We're waiting to see what happens now... I told him I'll be happy when we sign the contract and the money's lodged with the attorney. I'll keep you all posted.
