Morning!2dream said:You sure are busy. So glad someones retirment plans are coming back. We are almost back to where we were this time last year. Still a couple of thousand short but sure better than before.
I still don't have goats and DH is bucking me big time on this. He has only been around what I call scrub goats so he has a really bad misconception of goats and nothing I say seems to change his mind. So unless he changes his mind goats will not be happening. I can of course get them and try to do it all myself but, with working all day and garden time upon us plus normal household chores along with chickens and rabbits and my mother to take care of - I just don't see the time unless he is on board and willing to help.
Like you there is not enough hours in the day to do all that has to be done.
Great power bill you have there. Wish I could get mine down that low. I have cut mine down by about 55 a month just by not using the dryer. But with all this rain next month will probably be right back up there.
Hey being only a couple thousand short is a great thing I am sure!! So many took full dives down to nothing....so we did well I know!! Tony lost nothing in his 401K....he moved it all to money market safe cash fund very early and let it sit there.....then when that stock dumped to $4....be bought a bunch and it is now at abouit $11 per share. He sure is making great money!
HA HA HA on the dryer. I know what you mean. I had to use it a few times due to rain. Yea, it sure does hike the bill back up there!! Cutting it by $55 is a good savings big time!
Scrub goats are the same as specific breed goats actually...LOL-LOL......a goat is a goat in any clothing....LOL
My Boer goats act just like a cross goat and all that....a goat is a goat no matter what it looks like..HA HA....they are all a pain in the butt BUT are fun to own definitely.
You will just have to tell your hubby that one "appeared" outside your door and you are adopting it..HA HA
But yea, they are work! Make sure you really want to take on that work cause you know that animals are a pain! LOL----anything alive just holds yoiu down to the property and yoiu can't just get up and go so easy.
We are going to the mountains over Mothers Day weekend. Tony wants to trout fish in Cherokee and the KOA campground has a "reserve 3 nights, get one free"! I like that so I book us for Fri to Mon. Will be a nice time----but also I have to get his parents to babysit all the animals as usual. Thank goodness for his parents being able to cover the farm work! Or we would never leave...LOL
You sure sound busy also. When spring hits it is just a whirlwind of activity!
Anything new happening? All good here...just busy but I can cope with that..LOL
