Holy cow, or goat, woman!! I now know why you are never around. You and Tony have accomplished amazing things in the past couple months. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. It's great to hear all your good news.

Looks like you may need an employee to help you with soap. More production, more sales. :D

Have a great week. g

hey ya'll

hope everyone is doing good!

all fine here but super duper hectic!

tis the "farm season" and it won't slow until about January now...UGH--but again, I like it..HA HA---but I noticed each year this is truly getting harder and harder. No joke there! :)

Going camping on Thursday so doubling up the workload each day to get it all controlled and one before I leave.

Tony's parents are doing animals...so that is taken care of and definitely needed when we leave.

Going to Cherokee to trout fish and swim!!! Relax time. I relax well until about 1 hr. from home on the return trip and then go into spaz mode knowing, just knowing, the tons of work waiting..UGH
LOL

Anyway.....waiting to get about 80 acres of hay down. Rainy, misty, t-storm type days and not taking the chance yet until dry weather! So time to go camping now--before hay time kicks in.
Once hay time starts, you do not leave or do anything else but bale that hay! LOL

Animals all fine. I love the new chickens cause their pullet eggs are huge!! I had very few that I couldn't put into the egg cartons and distribute and sell....so that is great. Money makers those little suckers.

New addition is a blessing big time. So much room....and my living room is nice and perfect and Nicole is in her tv room....Yippee....so now just cleaning and moving stuff and getting everything in order. My house is getting more and more bare with just a few key sentimental items for show etc....I like that....uncluttered. Now to work on the old clothes and such and get those closets in shape.

Fall work will be all bedroom carpets replaced, rooms painted, and new furniture in all bedrooms. Then landscape stuff I need to do, like making a cute courtyard with stones, etc. off the back porch and then I have to paint the back deck to match the new part of the addition back there....so not bad...but all in winter more or less. Can't handle anything else but the farm right now.

Sales great. Over $1200 on Saturday and early in the season means more money to come as the season hits its high!! I already banked alot of money so far....I vowed to bank about $7,500 this farm season just from the farm alone! So far getting there good.

Tony is making a killing in stock! We made last week another $20,000.....he has made about $110,000 in such a short time! He is a financial wizard this week...HA HA HA.....he is on cloud nine his stocks are working well right now!!!

So all is fine. Haven't worked on the pool since the weather is bad and what progress I made is slipping...LOL...will be green again and will have more work to do on it come nicer weather...oh well, always something.

what else....?? nothing much. just having the best time I can considering I am working from 6 am to 11 pm at least each day. It is truly hard.

Oh---now I know why I always loved my dryer. clothes got done FAST.....outside they have to have time to dry!!! then by the time I have to bring them in and fold, my butt is tired......so I am alternating with the dryer. On super busy days I just use the dryer and dry a load fast and get it done!! On super, duper hot days they will go outside to dry fast and get done. So compromise on that one for me.

power bill only $81 this month. I am thrilled......still doing quite well on keeping it down.

Well Tony back from work at 6:30 and have to start dinner. Pork roast, mac n cheese for them, big salad for me....easy dinner. Might, might make some biscuits for Tony since he loves them with honey.

He had to change his dr. appt. since we didn't realize that we planned our camping trip over his scheduled appt....he does well some days, and if works hard, truly has chest pains and arm pain, etc....hmmm....not enough to be super bad, but not good either. I honestly just don't know.....will see what the Dr. says on his appt. when we get back from camping.

nothing new, nothing bad, everything just working along and doing its thing.....

see ya'll sometime next week!!

Back from my camping trip and it was wonderful!!!

Swimming, fishing, biking, hiking, movie night, saw the old country band, etc. etc........just a good old fashioned camping fun time!!!

Tired now because I have TONS of catch up work with the farm.

WOW do I have to bush hog around the barns and such and have to make some paths...grass is over knee high! :) I have to make some good paths to get around...now to find time!!

Tons of soap orders....monster orders. Got new stores and they are selling out each week and increasing orders...good but bad..HA HA HA

Markets are doing wonderful.

Tons of field crop work to handle. Turnip greens, turnips, radishes, onions, all that stuff is selling at the market for good prices and selling out very fast...produce doing great. I guess people still value their food vs. spending money on "stuff"---good for us farmers..LOL

Tony caught tons of trout....have a few whole ones frozen. Taste was exceptional on the grill. Nicole caught a big one also!!

Gotta get 2 push mowers back from the shop.

Gotta get that darn pool going!! Before I don't do it and get it clean...LOL

Did 5 loads of laundry...mainly fishing stuff from camping...UGH---but it is done and folded and over...so far

Chickens are producing like mad!! Eggs went to large size very fast and with 300 chickens, I can barely keep up....new mudroom with sink is working fab for washing eggs. Eggs sell out at the market from 7-9....customers go mad over eggs. Should be doing over 100 dozen per week...money will be good!

Getting ready to pick thru the baby goats and keep a few gals and take the bucks to sale. Can't wait to get rid of them now....they are past "cute" except a few of my nice does.

Bridget (my fav goat) is acting slow...she is getting old darn it and will miss her...not that she is going to croak anytime soon but I see the writing on the wall...UGH....but I got her baby and will keep her and have another of her does....so she will live on in the herd.

Still working on the driveway...grading etc. Gotta get 2-3 loads of rock soon. But the mud is slowing us down...rain, rain, rain and storms and rain, and rain...hmmm...did I say it is always raining here lately..HA HA

Basically so busy don't know what is happening....hard to keep up and control everything. I try, but life wins and keeps me out of control...HA HA

take care all....finished up the soap at midnight and am getting tired now...very very very long long day!!

Glad you had a good time. You deserved it.

I am tired just reading your post. Now I need a vacation. LOL

And the rain is awful here too. Its almost daily. We have never had rain like this at this time of year. Yucky weather everywhere.

I feel you on the rain issue but hey, keeps you from having to irrigate your crops, right?

How much milk do you have to have every day to make all your soap orders? Oh, what do you wash your eggs with?
