WOW, last year i was upset with all the rain we had--my horse pasture was flooded, my garden got washed away. this year we have not had alot of rain, but we have had a very cool spring. I'm not complaining, but I do enjoy a good thunderstorm now and again.

Hey Miss

yea we are soggy out there and that red Carolina clay mud is nasty! :( UGH

I love a good thunderstorm also!

BUT last night it poured and this morning...guess what.....RAIN RAIN

just a big steady rain outside and dark and nasty and UGH

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY, COME BACK ANOTHER DAY.....

if I lived where it rained all the time I would go insane..HA HA

but the sun will shine again.

in NC we are usually dry. I always had to put stuff on the horse's hooves to keep them moisturized.....boy in this weather there feet wouldn't be drying out at all..LOL

Friday morn and it is pouring outside.

shoot me please! HA HA HA

wrapping soaps for 2 markets, boxing a soap order to mail to a store, not doing any laundry, washing eggs for market as usual.

should be a boring and easy day today. hate the thought of going out in the rain to feed critters....maybe wait til this afternoon but it sure looks like the rain is on us for the day!

So just piddling and doing my work and typing and goofing with Nicole a bit...she is just playing with some toys and watching tv and hanging out.

Not much to do today but wait out the storms...and hope for sunshine....come on sunshine.

Barb wants to hit some yard sales tomorrow...HMMM....if raining we won't go. But maybe the skies will clear???

gotta go watch the weather report! :)

everyone have a great day

We seem to be in the same weather pattern. I'm happy not to have to water the garden, though.

Someone said something to me yesterday about it being summer. I was floored. It hadn't really dawned on me that it was June -- kind of feels like a perpetual April around here.

FC we are in pretty much the same weather pattern I think. We had rain yesterday but today I don't know. Its not raining right this minute but it sure looks like it wants to. I don't watch the weather anymore. They change it every 15 minutes so on minute they tell me the rain is going to miss us and the next thing I hear is a weather warning. LOL I just depend on my faithful weather rock. When I look out in the morning if its wet I know its raining. :D

If anyone deserves a piddlin day it is you. You work way to hard.

rain ain't so bad but I am one of those who hates getting wet doing chores...LOL-LOL---gotta fix that now that we are in the "never-ending" rain pattern..LOL

Summer???????????
what is that????????

seems our pattern is changing....I sure see it. We used to be 90s in May....now it is cold outside!!!! Summer stays into Sept and Oct now for NC...Hmm....cooler weather veggies get planted later and later it seems.

UGH

oh well, we continue on!

Look who is talking about working hard??? LOL---you do too!!!!!!

I need a faithful weather rock! Can I buy one? Good idea actually....like the "pet" rock you could make a killing on the city people to "own a weather rock!" Hmmm....you got me thinking!
LOL

COLD OUTSIDE
YUP---COLD
had to put on a jacket to wash onions and bunch up for the market.
We didn't harvest much for tomorrow.

time to wash eggs.....playing with water outside cleaning onions is not warm and fuzzy feeling...lol...time to wash eggs inside.

taking not much produce to the market...the fields are nasty to work in and everything is just mud and nasty!!!
UGH

no problem for Tony...cause he worked 6 ---12 hr. days straight and he is pooped. Tomorrows market needs to be easy for him and an early day if he can wing it...less produce to sale means shorter hours to work.

FC have I got a deal for you. I just happen to have 1 extra weather rock.
I will be happy to send it to you. The rock is free. However, shipping and handling is another story.......;)
