OK well point me to the stupid line, but I am still wondering how they have different daddies but the same mama. :hide

BUT where ever they came from the are ADORABLE!!!! I would want them in my living room to admire too :D

Hey, you're right! FD, you got some 'splainin' to do!

They are sisters with different sires. The mother is LaMancha, one is fathered by a Nubian, The other by an Alpine buck. They were born last friday.

The way the story goes, is that someone left a gate open and the wrong buck got out and had his fun with quite a few of the ladies before he got caught and put back in his pen. Then the correct buck was introduced to the ladies. So this particular LaMancha mama... em, .... lets just say she had a bit too much fun that night (or rather afternoon) and slept around with more than one of the boys ;) ...
Each egg was fertilized by a different male, there you have it,
same mama, different daddies.

Dogs do that all of the time when they are running around as stray... one pup's daddy may be a poodle and the other pup my have a daddy that is a St. Bernard! :lol:
