Almost have the 2022 financial stuff caught up.

Two months of one credit card to get entered.

nice! i have the recent stuff caught up ok, it's all the ancient stuff that is going to take more time to get properly formatted and fed in. and then there's paper statements, none of those are priority now anyways. just old things that if i can get them entered it can let me answer some interesting questions.

So I had a crazy idea. My kids great grandmother spent a lot of her life in Colorado. Just south of where she lived is active aquamarine mining. Thinking of getting a stone for the girls to make them a jewelry piece (youngest works for a jeweler). Thoughts?

Broke down and ordered a new Carhart winter work jacket to replace my 20 year old jacket. I prefer wearing it instead of my other winter coat (multi piece Columbia jacket) that i wear to work. The old one has issues with the zipper, it's really faded, and the sleeve ends are frayed. Not tossing it, saving it for a dirty job need.

Lots of memories in that old coat.

I wear Carhart overalls that belonged to my son when he was in high school. He’s 40 now. His legs are a LOT longer than mine, so I have to roll them up. Son generally has to special order his jeans, has 38” inseam and jeans have to be fire retardant due to his job sites. I usually put on a sweat hoodie, then Carhart jacket over that. They sure block the wind and keep me warm.
