Found out they changed product id's. Order the same ID as my old coat, but not the same. Sent it back, ordered the matching replacement jacket

Into April already. Time is flying by.

Tried to relax doing some recreational reading. Can't seem to find anything to capture my attention.

Canning this year is going to minimal. Not using up last year's bounty as quickly as I thought.

Yeah. Still is. Why buy just three when six are on the store shelf, shortages, you know. Some of the store bought canned goods are reaching/passing the dates on the cans.

it's been hard for me the past few years to find authors i really enjoy. i had hopes last week that some books by an author i picked up at the library were going to be good, but after finishing the first book of three i decided i did not like that author well enough to read the other two. after a few days i skimmed them and decided i made the right decision.

i'm getting more picky...

right now if i don't see any more ham for a few weeks i'd be fine, but we just brought back yet another bowl of ham with the juice and a nice bone. probably will be making yet another round of ham and bean soup this week.

we ended up taking some of the ham for cutting up and using in eggs and stuff and then froze the rest. no more bean soup for a few weeks. *whew!*

I think I posted this topic in another thread, but it makes more sense here.

We had a great dinner with my youngest last night. Did some preliminary colorado trip planning. My divorce process started when she was 11. Long story short (and trying to take the high road), she only has gone on one vacation with me since (2013). This is some sorely missed bonding time.

The wife is going to stay home since we don't have a reliable adult to check in on the cats (grrr to the son LOL).

It's amazing how much my daughter's interests overlap mine. She is also a planner.

This will be fun
