Would this meal be "larpin'" ?

As a young teenager, in addition to the farming/gardening stuff I was was learning, my mom made sure I really new how to cook - I can actually sew a little bit, too.

The wife is such a great cook, I don't cook as much as I used to. :/
This would be larpin! I know how to cook because I watch their movements and what they do, etc.

I want to plant something soooo bad. I have enough potting soil mix for my stevia (that I am going plant in two weeks) and some left over for another small planter. I think I'm going to plant some scallion seeds now in the small planter, just to be able to play with a little dirt. :)

DW is super busy today. Had a flat tire and we found out she has the wrong tires by spec on her van, which explains some issues we've been having. If the tire can't be patched, it'll be 4 new ones. :he

Soooo, when she gets home tonight, she'll have dinner waiting for her:

Small salad. (I may make fried mozarella sticks?)

Beef roast (in the oven, covered with onions and pickled garlic, dressed with carrots, celery, and potatoes.)

Potato rolls (dough rising on the warm stove top right now)

From the Black Bean Chocolate Cake recipe thread, a cake cooling in the kitchen.

With all the blah-blah weather, I feel super productive right now!!!!
I'm coming to eat with you!!!! :drool

You could sprout grains for your hens............
I have a large number of co-workers that brew their own beer at home. They would rather give me the spent grain rather than throw it in the trash or try to figure out what to do with it. It's just grain with the sugars leached out of it (non-alcoholic). The girls get some twice a week as treat. They love it.
