FF, you are making me drool on my keyboard!! :drool Raspberry jam sounds delish!!

Don't feel bad about your corn.....no one around her is putting in a garden yet as its too wet and cool. I always feel like I'm running backwards at this time of year, but everyone seems to be in the same shape as us, so it just can't be helped.

I can't wait to have it all in the ground, though, can you? :thumbsup

Camping is so fun! I have to admit, when my family camps, it is in trailers with toilets and heaters. But my dad never let us be inside unless we were using the bathroom or the rare occasions that we cooked inside. Other than that, it didn't matter if it was a foot of mud and pouring, we were outside! We did a fair amount of off-roading to get to our locations. Oh, and mostly we washed our hair in a conveniently located stream, who cares that it came from a glacier?

We also are supposed to have colder than usual weather this week. Rainy and windy currently!

Oh, the spring and summer visitor...the bane of our existence in a lot of ways! I usually just keep on working and tell them to talk to me while I work, as it helps me work faster with someone to talk to. This is especially good for kitchen work.....for outside work, it requires they move to wherever I'm moving, which is a little more difficult.

My oldest son's girlfriend often wants to come over for a visit on a Saturday....which is our official work day each week. I always say, "Sure! She can come and help us!" Somehow, she never seems to make it on a Saturday......

I am planting Lemon Balm for the first time this year and can't wait to dry some for teas, balms, soaps, etc.

Weirdest thing....my chocolate mint didn't survive the winter and I could have sworn that I would be overrun with it this year.....hard to kill a mint, isn't it! :p

Sounds like you are ready for a much deserved break!

Everything being closed tomorrow shouldn't affect us here too much.
