Well, I'm bummed. Bible Study was cancelled due to the weather tonight. I was really looking forward to starting that. Oh well, next week.

Came home to find the light at the end of the driveway was replaced, bathroom vanity fixture was swapped out, closet doors were up and functioning and the ugly light above the sink was getting an overhaul!!!

About the time we move on, this old wreck of a place will be so pretty!
What church was it?

You can always join our study..........

Thanks Barred! I haven't been to church regular in about 5 years due to work and was really looking forward to the live human interaction. I'm excited that your Bible study has so many participants and I pop in everyonce in awhile. I don't have the consistent time on-line to keep up with that one ;)

My degree will be in computer engineering with a focus in cybersecurity and minor in Farsi (spoken in Iran). Something I've always been interested in but never pursued. I'm so excited! I've loved framing with a passion but feeling called to something else.

Wow.....that sounds impressive (and hard!)

CONGRATS for being to bold and brave! That is really awesome and very exciting!

Do you plan to travel to Iran or is the language something you would use here?

I'm not exactly sure where that is leading yet, but it's been on both of our hearts and minds. It really makes no practical sense except that I think it's what I'm supposed to be doing. I just feel like I'm being called to be prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually. Girding my loins to be prepared for battle so to speak. I have never felt a stronger call to be disciplined and prepare for so many different areas.

So many people here have been a part of those preparations... relationships, physical health, etc...

I am freaking out because I haven't cracked a calculus book for 12 years...

We have our loan pre-approval package sitting on the loan officers desk and praying that they come back with something or we are going to have to get really creative on financing! We're looking for homes right now via the internet and have been in contact with a broker up in Urbana/Champaign.

Found out that Urbana allows chickens but Champaign does not. Also looking into the possibility of buying bank REO. Anyone done this? I think Monday I will get out the phone and just call a few banks up there to see.

Well Urbana sounds like the place then....

Farsi is an interesting language to study. I used to work with a lady from Iran and she has the most interesting accent (native language was Farsi).

What is your interest in studying Farsi, how do you plan to use it?
