:ep That sounds really bad FF. Glad you pulled out of it okay. Sounds like someone was watching over you!

Anyway, as far as tomorrow goes it's supposed to melt quite a bit and if it looks bad (meaning even half of what we attempted today!), we'll just have him meet us there and take us to the house.

Hopefully he has a big 4 wheel drive. Still sounds like a nice place to really get away. :)

 I agree! I don't care how impractical it is, I've always wanted a big old bad red truck with monster tires!

Vacation was amazing. We haven't had one in two years so it was wonderful. It was peaceful and quiet and we were able to redo our budget, goals, time planning, menu planning, and just spend time together talking and reading. I walked the dogs for hours in the woods along old logging roads.

We also found an old pile of magazines that were all stories and memories of people, places and events in KY. They also had old recipes in them which was fun to read. I copied two of them and so for dinner tonight, we had fried cabbage. So yummy!!!

We were about 30 miles east of Berea in Jackson Co. I actually thought of you while we were there. The lady down the road had a huge chicken flock, lots of geese and at least one turkey that we could hear. Everything really echos out there. I had to holler at our dogs once and I thought, wow! Everyone within 10 miles must think I'm a real crank!

Im a little farther north. Where I live is a tourist spot people come here from surrounding states and they hike, rock climb, camp, and stay in cabins. Im positive they dont think your a crank, because we here the neighbors roosters, dogs, hen, etcetera. Noise is really not new to me.
