Could just be the weather. I've been feeling blah myself lately. But, when we had those 2 days of spring, and I was able to ride my bike, I felt much better.

My Paternal Grandmother made Vinegar Pudding all the time. We all loved it. My husband wrinkles his nose when I mention it too.

Yum, so I'm guessing the pudding was just the filling without the pie crust? Eggs, sugar, glop of vinegar, and splash of vanilla?

Had a bit of something start to bother me last weekend. Was in bed at 7pm every night this past week until Friday. Finally started to feel better.

Got the paperwork for taxes back from the accountant. He ended up getting the same numbers that I did... I guess that's good and bad. He felt so bad for us that he ended up doing it gratis. Hope he likes fresh eggs this summer! But we've got a plan in place now so this won't happen next year.

Tulips, daffs, and hyacinths about 4" tall. That's about all I've managed to even look at outside. Chicken pen and going to get compost have been on hold. Not feeling well and then DH's truck needed work this week. Hopefully compost next weekend...

DH is loving the fact that I added baking homemade cookies for him to my weekends. Got another batch of sauerkraut to start tomorrow. Been doing lots of sprouts lately. Got my kombucha started up again. Bought some jicama for the first time yesterday and made a salad with it that I'll be trying tonight. Will report back on that one.

I've kind of gotten over my funk that I was in. We have a meeting with HR for my second job on Tuesday to hopefully work on resolving some major issues there which I think have been dragging me down.

Parsnips & Jicama, not such a good recipe...

Met with HR along with 3 other coworkers Tuesday. Between the four of us, we covered everything from sexual harassment, financial indiscretion, lack of training, hostile work environment, and lack of communication. The HR director had about 10 pages of notes by the time we were done. Hopefully the administrative process will be fast and bring about positive changes. This stuff is really dragging me down. For the first time in my life, I've got dark circles under my eyes. I'm trying to stay positive but it's been a bit of a rough spring.

But, onward and upward. First crocus blossomed today! If the weather cooperates, I've got Monday blocked out to work in the garden. Should be able to get the soil turned and peas planted. That's my hope anyway.

Sorry you are under so much stress these days. We just need Spring to get on with it! Once we get a bit of dirt under our fingernails and some sun on our backs things will be so much better. You hang in there and try to get some rest.

Thanks Ff & SD! Feeling much better!

Barred Buff: well, I don't think I'd be working in the garden either except I put some lettuce and spinach in pots, and we have raised beds so I turned the soil.

Got a call from MyT Man today. He let me know I better be feeling good tonight because he just went and picked up half a ton of compost from a horse farm for free today!!! :clap :woot

Last night we watched the Lucy Show reruns and laughed so hard my stomach hurts today. Just what the doctor ordered!
