I neeeed a break! I havta work this weekend too... So, my Saturday is taken up by that and Sunday I'll be making the drive to mom's. Bad thing about working two Saturday's in a row is that I'm soooo behind on everything at home. Good thing about working Saturdays is that I get 12 hours of comp time - woohoo!

Sooooo, I'll have 24 hours of comp time coming to me and that sounds like 3 work days and three work days on top of a weekend is a flippin' vacation! Oh, even better....I can combine it with Memorial Day holiday and our Fridays off and get TEN days in a row off work. YIPPEE! Life is good! Now I've got something to look forward too.

Wannabefree is right, denial is better lol

The ex asked me one day how many chickens I have. I had a good size flock at the time. I had to sit down and write it down… x number of layers, x number of chicks, broody + x number of chicks, x number of cockerels I can't get myself to rehome… Oh forgot the youngsters that are growing out! = 107 in total o_O

It didn't look like a lot... until I counted them. That's why I say denial is good. Once you start counting critters you're in trouble. Rather keep adding and subtracting and continue as you (and the feed bill) can manage.

Wow yeah I've never had that many chickens except when we used to raise and sell meat birds! I try to keep numbers low because the downsizing process stinks and I have to watch our feed bill. I hate selling animals, so I try to keep them at manageable numbers! TRY....;)
