Night 3 with DH out of town. I miss my back rubs, lol!

Besides jalapenos being close - green beans are coming on too - but radish leaves are being devoured by something.... The joys of gardening!

Those peppers are looking great! I hear you on the joys of gardening, I found when I watered yesterday at least two of my small plants got nibbled some.

All in all the garden is doing fairly well. I have a few more areas I need to get feed bags and hay down on....if not the weeds start winning. Can't let that happen.

I need to replant a couple areas where some things just didn't germinate. Probably because I'm trying to use up some old seeds. Won't be doing that again. So, I broke down and ordered some more Lima bean seeds. I WANT LIMA BEANS. I guess it's the challenge as much as just loving the limas, lol. Never had much luck with them at all - but I'm going to figure out the cause and overcome!

I picked a pepper today and ate it right in the garden! I picked two green beans and ate them right in the garden. I picked a yellow squash - and I did NOT eat it in the garden - but I might steam it up and have it for dinner!

I replanted corn for the THIRD time today. If it doesn't come up this time I'm gonna give up - not meant to be. The area that I seeded for the bucks is really coming along. I'm keeping it watered at least twice a week. Hard to believe but we're kinda dry around here! Also hard to believe that hurricane season starts in 23 days. CRAZY!
