It's been a long time since I've had summer babies. I've had more pneumonia with kids in the summer than the winter, especially if a kid has inhaled any fluids in a rough birth. For some reason the humidity keeps their lungs "moist" and they have trouble shaking it...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. But, generally if the birth is easy the kids do ok. They'll lay around all day and get crazy active in the evenings.How do goats due kidding in Texas in the summer? Other than being miserable, lol.
I bought comfort food today...gonna go indulge in some Sea Salt Caramel ice cream!! Shouldn't have, but did. Eh...
