Ah yes, I am the same! I HATE selling animals. I hate having strangers at my house. You selling pigs ? Goats?

I have a hard time with restraint when there is crap food in my house, so I'm trying to limit it but it's soooo hard! Need to get back down to my pre-pregnancy size, I can't afford to buy new jeans! Lol

All of the above, lol. Actually was planning on an ad for piglets and Nigi's. I hate to have anybody out while it's so wet though... might think about sequestering said critters in the livestock trailer for a day or so. Only after I place an ad and have interest though...don't want to lock them in there any longer than necessary. However, it would be dry and the goats at least would probably like it!

I can't afford to buy new jeans! Lol

That's my motivation too! LOL!

You're doing great @frustratedearthmother ! :hugs Eating a calorie deficit does not produce weight loss long term, but low carb does. You're on the right track! I lost 15# and it was a whole lot longer than 6 weeks!!! LOL! I'm going to go for losing the last 10% body fat. Not measuring weight anymore because I'm hoping to increase my muscle mass (and therefore weight). In reality, I made myself very sick from ditching keto and going back to old habits. That body fat aspiration is just a way to trick myself to stay on the low-carb/keto. I'm also competitive, but lose sight of long term goals without little short term challenges.

This round of "dieting" has been harder for me than ever before

Older you get, the harder it is. Your body changes! Even if your weight doesn't, between gravity and metabolic slowdown, it's tough to back up the clock. You can eat almost all the veggies you want if you don't make that solely butter soaked corn (that's the best tho :D). Yep, you know& do. It's that extra stuff that follows us home that's a problem. I find that buying 2 small slices of cheesecake, keeps me from eating a 12 slice whole one. You know it sits there calling your name!

I love a skillet of lightly sautéed veggies! Those muffins sound like a good accompaniment. With the onion in it I'm thinking hushpuppies. :drool Have you ever used almond flour to make onion rings? I ask because you say it's mealy like a corn bread flour. All those "specialty" flours are very expensive.

I have 5 gal of milk I need to make into something tomorrow! Full frig. My garden was a flop but the goats are still producing. :)

And that's the truth! But, I can't get too discouraged. Most of the time I measure the loss in tenths of a pound at a time. Like this morning - down .2 of a pound, lol. I'm still happy with it. I do love veggies and meat so the Keto diet fits me pretty well. I've even learned to live without wine for the most part. I generally "allow" myself to have wine on weekends. Last weekend I had some on Friday night only. I'm kinda past the bread cravings for the most part even though I would never say I don't LIKE bread - just learned to live without it. What I do miss is cream in my coffee in the mornings. I can have cream on the Keto part of this diet - but I'm also doing the intermittent fasting which means I don't put anything of any nutritional value in my mouth before 12 or 1 pm...depending on when I stopped feeding the evening before. Soooo, I've learned to have a cup of decaf in the early evening with LOTS of cream, lol. It's kind of been replacing the wine on the satiety factor. In fact, last night I didn't eat dinner. Had a snack of deli turkey and some swiss cheese when I got home from work and called it good. Even DH is getting on the band wagon!

Have to work tomorrow...yay? Not so bad really and I'll get comp hours that I can use to take some time during the week. I don't mind that at all.

I love onion rings, but have NOT done them in almond flour. Might have to look for a recipe...but I don't fry so I'd have to see about oven baking them. I actually love sautéed onions, so I'm good with that too.

We've had THREE days with no rain - but I guess that'll change. Rain is in the forecast for the next 6 years or so..:(
They're even watching some tropical stuff... I'm so ready to toss my mud boots. Sick, sick, sick of it, but I'm also sick of whining about it, lol. I need a new topic!

There was a big wreck around the corner from my house this morning. Made me a little late, but worse was that I automatically had to survey the scene to make sure it didn't involve DH since he left before me. Looked like a couple of trucks decided to gang up on a mid-sized SUV. SUV lost. Didn't see any ambulances so hope that meant no one was hurt. Not a great way for anybody to start their day.

I took some pics for you, FEM and @Mini Horses. I don't know who these belong to, they graze the field next to the village football pitch. I tried to get better pics, but mom was nervous and DS refused to stop moving around, which made her run around...

My DH drove by moments after an accident on his way to work today too.

Yuck, yuck on the rain and mud. How are the critters taking it? Other than the pigs who likely couldn't care less, lol. Though mine don't love being rained on, the resulting mud is ok with them!

Thanks @sumi! Precious pics - nothing cuter than a little mini baby!

Yep - pigs don't even care most of the time - even though I see them hanging out in the barn a lot lately. Mostly cuz they're just fat and happy I guess, lol.

I saw the neighbor's freezer sitting out on the driveway this morning...He'd had problems with it a couple months ago but thought that the door had been left open. Looks like it finally died completely. Now ya'll know I love this particular neighbor family. Don't know if they have a new freezer yet - but I will be asking. And as soon as they do I'll ask if they need some pork! I want those two boars gone! One for them and one for me sounds like a good deal.
