You never know.... he won't do it here, but then he won't feed the cats and scoop the poop at our house either. I don't pay him enough I guess!
Busy day today. After school I have to run to the mall to look for a sweater for DS. He has a nice shirt and pants for Lessons and Carols tonight but we got a paper home yesterday saying "proper church attire" consists of either a shirt and tie or shirt and sweater. He only has his school sweater currently so I will try a few stores for a new sweater. He needs one anyway.
Then at 4 I pick him up after his after school science club. We run home and shovel dinner into our faces and then off to the church for 6:15. Not our church, the church his school is affiliated with. Should be nice though. His class is singing O Come O Come Emmanuel and he is very excited about it.
I'd love to get an ornament or two on the tree this afternoon, but I said the same thing yesterday and it never happened.....

It went great! The church was packed, the younger siblings were all wailing, most of the singing was way off key... it was perfect!
At the end there was a short reenactment of the Christmas story. DS didn't tell us he was selected to play an "adoring angel". He didn't have any lines but he looked adorable as well as adoring! I forgot my camera in the rush to get there on time but got a cell phone shot. One of the other moms is going to email pictures she took of him since he was standing in front of her daughter.
I'll post it in a second.
We lost one of our favorite chickens today. I named her after "myself". Henrietta was a sweet Red Star we raised from a chick. She will be missed.

Thanks! I hate losing my old girls, but it does make a little more room for a few new chicks in the spring :hide We still have too many but we need our eggs!!!

New chicks is always a plus. None of mine have died but a few chicks are in the future. Im not sure you could EVER have to many chickens......
