Gorgeous pics! Didja hear, H23, we broke the record for the most snow in any one month, ever, and are only a storm away from a record for the year??? At Bradley Airport, anyways.

A big hunk of snow (I type snot instead of snow EVERY time! ) slid off my metal barn roof an hit poor Ginger. Mya was chasing her and she couldn't veer away from the falling snow in time and it hit her full force. Good thing it was her in all her gigantic-ness and not itty-bitty Plummy. Plum might've gotten injured. They hear that snow start to slide and they all scramble.

Glad all your goats are okay! That could have been really bad.
I heard about the record! The news talks of little else. 56+ inches this month alone. And we complained about not having a white Christmas. Roofs collapsing all over the place, including a barn up in Somers. Three horses were trapped. They were able to get 2 out but couldn't save the third. Heart wrenching. Our roof is now clear. DH doesn't think there's any danger but it stressed the house enough the ceiling cracked. DH spent the day on the roof. He cleared the front first, then had to clear the front door. He had to snow blow the back deck, clear the roof, then re-snow blow the deck. I just got a text that his school is closed again tomorrow. Not sure why. Possibly roof damage. Thought at first it might be an error but my mother just called because she saw it scrolling on the TV screen. Weird. There's just too much snow to deal with!!
