Hey FF, sorry you're hurtin'!Farmfresh said:Glad you made it home safe Hen!
That is the thing with snowfall amounts are VERY hard to predict.
Most front wheel drives get around OK as long as you are not stupid about your driving. There are some days people just need to stay off of the roads.
Mostly Tanks you just take it easy, allow space between vehicles and tap the brakes instead of locking them up. YOU could do it easy. Lots of practice with sand and there is not much difference there.
Drifts can be a big problem for cars, however. Hubby had to take my 4x4 last night and tow my D1's Kia up her hilly driveway. She was stuck in a snow wallow at the base of the drive left by the snow plows.

Welcome home again Hen. I COULD be working today, but my arthritis won't let me. My luck as soon as I am well it will snow.
I took my driver's test the morning after we got 18" of fresh snow. Interesting!! But I passed with flying colors.
My biggest problem is I really need new tires. But we just had to order oil so it will have to wait another month. Didn't plan well I'm afraid.
They're telling us we're between the band of 6-9" and the band of 9-12" and it may stop around 7am. We may have a delay only, we may have another snow day. I really don't care for delays. Especially when we will have a lot clean up to do before leaving. I end up tired before I even get in to school.
