DH went to pick it up. He just shoveled the neighbors' roof because their ceiling is leaking a little. I let the goats out to walk on the paths he cleared in the yard. They had fun getting some exercise.

That snow picture is crazy... No wonder you've been talking about shoveling roofs. Hope you're having a good weekend!

My parents used to live in both Oregon and Idaho. I've seen pics of the snow from when they lived out there and the snow was several feet high on the roofs! I'm thinking that it may have been in Idaho, since I know my one brother and sister were born in Seaside, Oregon, and I don't think it's as snowy by the coast, but I could be wrong.

More coming Tuesday?????? More snow?????????? :he :barnie
Yup, that's right, another storm due on Tuesday then a second on Wednesday that will be messier with sleet and rain and junk.

My Pinewood Derby car did horribly!! I wasn't even good enough to get the last place trophy. I came in 19th out of 20 cars. :hide DH's car modeled after our hovercraft came in 12th, with its propellor spinning!

This afternoon were back for the Scouts Derby. DS came in 1st last year and we had to really bring him down to earth that it wasn't likely to happen again. He came in 12th out of 41 cars. At first he was really disappointed but he held it together. This was the first year we didn't have anyone melt down when their car wasn't the fastest. They gave $5 Walmart gift cards to the fastest car from each den and DS was the fastest of our Bear den so he at least came home with that. Yay, a trip to Walmart in my future.... :sick

Well, let's see, what could be worse than $5 at wal-mart... Hmm... I guess the good news is it wasn't a $5 for McDonalds or Taco Bell.

Oh, I agree that Wal-Mart is awful. Wasn't trying to put anything in perspective... just saying! :thumbsup

Oh I know, but you did remind me it could be worse..... Too bad Walmart doesn't have a drive-through. "One Lego Stars Wars set, hold the pickles......"
