Oh cool! I'm thinking he had made some little toy or something, not a full sized hovercraft!

Oh, yeah, it's fun when it's running right. When you're stuck on a sandbar 3 miles down river from the boat launch..... not so much. I prefer to go out on it when we're with lot of the other guys so there's always someone to resuce us.
And yes, it's full sized. That's the biggest one he's built. He's also built at least 6 others and I think it's actually more, with his students. Some are single person models meant for racing. They have done at least one "cruiser" too though.

Indy is back at the vet. He got so swollen that his leg and chest had fluid in them. I've had him back to the vet 4 times since bringing him home. Today the vet kept him to go back in and drain things etc. I'll be up until he calls. I'm frantic with worry of course but glad that at least something is going to be DONE finally! The external suture line looks like it is healing great so the vet is wondering if something inside didn't hold. We did our best to keep him quiet and still short of crating him. He gets frantic in his crate these days, scratching at the front and pushing at the door with his nose to the point he tore his nose all up. It's going to be a long night.

He's out of surgery and doing as well as can be expected. He's up and about. He's got to more comfortable with all that fluid out of him! He'll stay until Saturday to be monitored. There's a drain in place just in case. What a flippin' nightmare this has been! I'm off to bed. I'm exhausted!
