Love the riding pics! He looks so happy and not intimidated by riding a big horse. (the forward leg in the second picture jumped out at me, too. I know it is just a moment in time- his position looks fine in the other pictures!)

I hope that I was not sounding too critical of him. He is REALLY doing great! We just routinely took pictures and video around this house and then picked it apart in order to improve our riding as much as possible.

Not to worry, his instructor is on it. He's only been riding 5 months. There is a lot to remember!
Abi,, this guy was so drunk he was no threat to anyone but himself. :/
Ugh, I'm still fighting a cold that has been trying to take over. I'm still winning but I'm so tired!!

:) I've only been dancing a year so my instructor has lots to pick on still :D

I think it's really good to have something you enjoy, and have to work at (and mess up and try again and again), and learn that good things really do take work!

Odd to think HOORAH! about someone being that drunk. Older men slouching around playgrounds just give me the heebie jeebies :p

*makes Hen a good tea to help out*

Thanks!
I finally got up enough energy to make sorghum waffles for the kid's breakfast all week and almond flour scones so I'll have a quick grab and go breakfast for myself. I need to get milk for kefir and start a new batch of kombucha. Laundry is going. Rabbit cages are clean. DS decided mom was stressing a bit and picked up some things without being asked then cleaned my desk for me! Then he disappeared and came back in about half an hour with a grin on his face. Told me to go look in my car and he had cleaned that out too! Granted DH had done a major cleaning a few weeks ago but it was nice to have the little things picked up and every thing in its place like the umbrella I couldn't find yesterday.....
DH went to pick up his chain saw which has been given a stay of execution. It's about 110 years old (give or take a few decades) but has outlived the newer one my parents bought him a few years back. It needs a bit of work so he took it in for diagnosis and now will have the parts to start getting it done. Then we're off to do a few errands like return library books and get shampoo 'cause I'm out.
Had some soup for lunch which is helping my sinuses emmensely. I'm still winning except for the lack of energy. It will be a good night for wet socks and an early bedtime. Tomorrow is church and Scout popcorn selling. Then getting ready for the week. Oops. Better fit grocery shopping in somewhere.

Okay, I won't. I'm trying to find more SS things to post but I've been neglecting that part of life lately I'm afraid!
We sold more Cub Scout popcorn today at the grocery store for a "Show and Sell" plus DS brought his order form to church and now he asked if he could sell in the neighborhood with his dad. I'm off to the grocery store (out of my leader uniform) to buy food for us. It is sooooooo HOT! My car said it was 89 when we left. It's really humid too. Not a good day for doing anything!
