Boy, oh boy I do! With my arthritis and neuropathy I have about 15 minutes of "on my feet" time before I am in a lot of pain. Standing is something we all take so for granted. I remember I used to just stand around and visit with a neighbor, for example, for an hour or more without even batting an eye.Henrietta23 said:I don't know as any of us realize how much time we spend on our feet when we're not doing much of anything.... :/
I hope you get good news about the ankle and are back on your feet really soon.

I'm headed in for the x-ray in a few minutes. Depending what it shows I may be referred to an orthopaedist. If it shows nothing the family doctor said it might be worth getting a bone scan to see if there's something deeper that might not show up on x-ray. Once I get to school today I will talk to my supervisor about what to do about getting my students up to our room for services. For 10th graders and up I can get away with calling their rooms and asking that they be sent to me. For the 9th graders I'll be able to do that soon, but they don't know their way to our room yet. Kids in the auditorium for study hall, I'll have to pick them up but there's only a few. There's no phone in there so I can't call for them. We'll figure it out.
. So back out I went only to receive a dirty look from Christine, who I happen to know is the wife of a famous author so I quickly figured out the lab tech's mistake so there
After that all went smoothly. They took 5 pictures and I got a yoga workout trying to stay in the right positions! No news from my doctor's office yet.
