Well, I haven't made a while lot of progress on much of anything. I ended up in a 4 hour conversation with my close friend who is now in Texas. We had a good time reconnecting and sharing our struggles which is a positive thing for us, we are a great sounding board for each other to help sort out issues.
I straightened up a little bit, bit haven't done anything really worthwhile. I suppose I should get the towels washed and try to get the kitchen cleaned up a bit. Maybe I can make some other progress.
The bf is all worried about a previous friend/employer calling trying to collect money, which he has chosen to stick his head in the sand about. He hasn't taken the most upstanding route with this and more it is biting him in the butt. I hope he will stand up and do what is right so the situation doesn't get worse but I guess we'll see. I haven't heard much from him some he told me that.
I guess I need to get moving now and actually get something accomplished today, considering I just ate lunch and is 4:00.

And I thought I ate a late lunch!

For your shoes, I had a friend in high school that had the same problem. I seem to recall that there was some kind of shoe swap she was involved in that helped people w/this problem get the shoes they needed w/out having to buy 2 pairs.

Awesome. Thanks for the resource, Deb. I'll have to check it out!
Been crazy busy and I think the bf and I are coming down with colds at the same time. Ugh. I think I'm fairing better than he is at the moment but we'll see.
Got a big update coming I just haven't had time to catch up!

We had a pretty productive weekend.
Saturday I had to Be at the horse expo at 7:30 in the morning. My friends T was taking me because she basically had to drive past my house on her way to work up there too. We were late leaving but had a good time talking in the car. It ended up that everyone else was later than I was so it didn't matter. I was put in the quieter building with a gal who was super nice and had been working tickets for years, which meant she was super prepared and had everything with her imaginable that might be needed which was so nice. We had a good time and were pretty busy which was great for the show.
I hung out with my ex a bit after until the bf finally got there. The bf had a busy morning taking care of the horses for me and then he and his brothers got the first hay feeder delivered. The lady is thrilled with it even though we don't have the net in it yet.
He finally made it to the expo and we wandered for a while before heading to catch dinner with his brothers at the best pizza place in town. It was way later than we wanted to get home but it was a fun time.
This morning he got up before me and snuck out of the house to feed everyone which was nice of him. I got up while he was still outside and started cleaning up the kitchen and getting him some breakfast.
We got ourselves organized and ordered the supplies we needed and finally got on the road. We picked up our good friend reds because he got into an accident trying to help us on Saturday so he was without a car. We headed to Lowe's and then grabbed lunch and then almost forgot to stop by home depot too but managed and then headed back home. We had to add the final touches to the hay feeder before delivering it to my friend's house. We realized that since the bfs brother were still asleep from their all night party it only left the bf, me and reds. The bf needed to drive his hero because neither reds or I drive stick and reds didn't drive a trailer which meant that I was more experienced with my single trip driving a trailer under my belt and thus suddenly the driver of the landlords pickup truck and trailer loaded with the hay feeder. Eek! The bf was smart enough to put reds in the truck with me to keep me from stressing too much, and it helped. He followed me to keep from having anyone run up my butt and try to pass me. Thankfully on a Sunday afternoon there weren't many people on the back roads.
My friends were also thrilled with their feeder and it was fun to watch the horses figuring out the net.
We finally headed home and the bf ran you fill up the landlords truck with gas as a thank you and we grilled hotdogs and had beer with the guys. I'm so glad they were able to help.
I'm totally ready to crash at this point. I'm just waiting on the bf to get back from dropping reds off again.
I need a break from my weekend!

Haha! YES! This is a time I'm glad that I don't have a real job lol! Of course I still couldn't sleep in. Ugh!
Oh, I forgot to mention... not only was the trailer on the truck but the front of the truck had the plow on it! So I had an extra 3' sticking out in front of me! It was crazy!
But I survived and didn't hit anything... so that was good!

Pausing for lunch and to regroup. I'm trying to stay motivated despite cramps but it isn't easy.
For the need stripped and remade and the sheets are bouncing in the dryer for a few before getting hung. I got most of the living room vacuumed so that it will be slightly easier to clean up the Christmas stuff. I got all the dishes from last night into the dishwasher so that is ready to run later. I organized a few other things in the bedroom and sucked up a lot of stink bugs both dead and alive. I got the dry load of laundry folded though I didn't finish putting it away yet.
I'm going to give my friend a lesson later since its supposed to snow tomorrow, and my friend T is supposed to come over and borrow my tub for a soak and then help me feed and then take down decorations. I hope we can get that mostly done today.
The bf might get home early too and I can't decide if it would be better to go cut wood for the next hay feeders or just spend some time together working in the house because there is plenty to do in here. He has some things piled around that he needs to pick up. I don't know what to do with them so he'll have to fix it. The trouble is that he hasn't had time to get to anything lately.
I guess I should get back to being productive now too.
