Well, I saw a post from PM, and this got me thinking...how well did we all do? If we were REAL pioneers...would your family make it through untill harvest this year!??
I admit...I had to BUY peas, carrotts, and beans...and spices.
I am hopeing to do better this year...but all in all, I think we would be OK....
13 qts 1 pnt Spaghetti sauce
12 pnts pickled beets
46 pnts green beans :th
22 pnts corn
2 pnts new potatos
4 pnts applesauce
13 pnts peaches
4 pnts sweet pickles
7 pnts dill pickles
2 qts,2 pints pumpkin butter
7 qts 1 pnt apples for pie
3 half pnts tomato juice
20 or so half pnts of various jams and jellies
2 pnts salsa

Wow, I didn't think I really can very much last year. But there seems to be a lot left. Mainly tomato products, pickles and some zucchini products. I hope to do better with the whole fruits this year. The peaches and pears turned out to be a favorite.

What I know is still there:

tomato sauce
canned chicken
pickled zucchini
zucchini relish (3 kinds)
bread and butter pickles
pizza sauce
diced tomato
peach jam
strawberry jam
apricot jam
plum jam
miscellaneous canned veggies, we didn't end up favoring those
chicken broth
some potatoes
dill chips
dill spears
black beans
kidney beans

I will do a tally and post a picture later. But it is kinda skewed since we rely on the grocery a lot still.

The only thing we have had to buy, was milk. We could actually go without planting a garden this year if we had to.

Well, I'm not going to show you pictures of mine. It's dusty, bare, and with a light garnish of mouse droppings.

Well, I have a lot of dried beans, coconut flakes (to make coconut milk), quinoa, steal cut oats, dried carrots, onions and peppers, and I still have 9 turkeys in the freezer.

I had to buy a lot of frozen veggies over the last few months. That is why I am increasing my growing beds.

Am I getting this right? We are supposed to post about what we have in our pantries right now? Well, since I am a "prepper", I probably have gone overboard. (No 'probably" about it. That's the goal of prepping !)

First are pictures of my commercially canned storage. Riveting.

Second are two videos I did for my blog. I hope they don't pause and stutter for you like they do for me.

There is audio. Now you can hear what a complete goober I am. Aren't you lucky?

In no way do I expect anyone to look at these. I just get tired of still photos because there is no detail. Sorry....

I don't know if I got these in the right order, but it is supposed to be:
1. Dry storage in boxes.
2. First set of shelves, starting with soup.
3. Second set of shelves, starting with review of first shelf and then on to fruits and veggies.

ETA: Just watched these online and they shut off after 10 minutes. You have dodged a bullet.
