I'm probably a little glummy :D Definitely irritated at not being able to get out and do anything. And walking in that poop soup is just gross :sick It probably seems worse than I really feel because I don't have much else to talk about.

My hands are not cramping this week. Sunday it was bad and I had DH help milk. It's been maybe 2 weeks now that I've been milking full udders, but only once a day. And I rub magnesium oil on them frequently and take ibuprofen and that helps. Epsom salt soaks would help too.

I just made another batch of farmer's cheese. :drool Hope it lasts more than a few hours this time. It's a good thing it's quick to make.
You could look for cheese supplies at brewery shops too.

I found a good looking ricotta recipe to try - it's very similar to the farmer's cheese. I probably will try it without the heavy cream unless I have some left in the freezer.

Thanks for that link Java, you have me wishing I had some plain yogurt so I could make that for tonight.

magnesium oil, hmmmm? where did you get that?

I betcha there are a zillion brewery supply stores in Portland, they love that micro-brewery stuff around here. Thanks!

I just spent the last hour washing cabinets and walls. It is simply amazing all the places the kids touch and the goop that sticks is just :sick

My 4 year old is itching to plant things so she put a bean seed in a pot. She said "It's gonna be a beautiful bean stop" She slays me.

And yippeeee!!!! The sun has been out all morning. Welcome back old friend!

I have a bit of sun right at the moment too. They predicted rain so I'm in a bit of a shock!

I just love the way little kids mispronounce things.

We used to tease my older son (actually we still do) because when he was about that age, he could not say watermelon, as hard as he tried. He could say water and he could say melon, but when he tried to say watermelon, it came out "water-lemon"....and we would roar every time.

Make sure you write down all the cute things she says! You will forget them years from now.

Just had to run to the grocery. Gas is now 4.15. A few days ago it was 3.89. I knew it was gong to get high eventually but that's quite a jump for just a few days :/
