I recall a time not too long ago where it snowed for 9 days straight here. I do feel your pain. Just not right now. :D

Only 9 straight days? :gig
That is what I WISH for. Seriously, it knows how to rain here.
I have my milking area inside the house. There was no way I could do this outside, I have a ramp going in the back door instead of stairs. When we moved in, there were NO stairs, so I suggested putting in the ramp when we could not figure out how to keep the milk dry. I have a funky little house but that part works!

I think you are on to something with the indoor milking parlor SD :D

My 4 year old daughter is playing on the other side of the room and I just heard her mutter "don't get mad, get glad" :gig I think we have the TV on way too much.

Well that isn't such a bad motto to mutter!

Kids say the cutest things..... I especially like ages 3-5 with the crazy funny observations they make and things they say.

I think age 4 is my favorite of the early childhood development. She doesn't try to be funny and gets so mad when I laugh at her so I have to be careful. But golly she cracks me up! She has a very low, serious tone to her voice that makes you pay attention. The other night at dinner she said something she picked up from a cartoon - "what da hey hey Dad?" and I snorted water right there. :gig That phrase is being used by all of us now.

I sometimes forget that alot of goats are quite picky.
We are milking in the rain again here. Say, that sounds like a song. Barry Manilow? Well at least it would sound happier than I feel when I am milking a wet goat :sick
OK, here goes nothing!

Goat owners have a way
Of facing rainy days
And somehow they survive

We keep the mamas warm
Protect them from the storms
Until the kids arrive

Then one day the kids appear
During a muddy, rainy time of year

Chorus
They made it thru the rain
And kept their goats protected
They made it thru the rain
And got their kids, brand new
They made it thru the rain
And found themselves respected
By the others who
Got rained on to
And made it thru

When the sun is hard to find
And life seems so unkind
Sometimes you feel so afraid

Just aim beyond the clouds
Ignore the mooing cows
Your problems will all fade

Cause when they chase their fears away
That's when they knew they could finally say,

Chorus
