I just need to make a note here for future reference. Something is afoot. I feel anxious, have been on a cleaning frenzy the last few days and have had weird dreams. The weirdest dream was I discovered I was pregnant. But not until I was 8 months along. We felt OK with it, though it was not planned. I was thrilled that I had no pregnancy symptoms at all. (in real life, my 3 pregnancies were awful and the last one almost killed me) Something is definitely afoot. Maybe it's just because we are preparing for the goats, but I really think it's something else. I dunno. Writing this down has made my heart pound.

...I think it might be my inlaws coming to visit They haven't called yet, but the feeling is growing. No big deal, I love my inlaws. But my house has been a mess for awhile and maybe God was giving me a heads up. I hope that's all it is. I'm not pregnant either

Quick update.
The ducks are loud.
The chickens are not laying.
The goats have been bred and we will pick them up this week. Yay!
Finally got some rain, but everything was already brown and crispy.
I ate too much cake.
I am turning 35 next week. Seems like a milestone of some sort.
This cool weather is calling for potato soup and fresh bread, so I need to go get started.
Nothing ever came out of my cleaning frenzy a couple weeks ago except a very clean house. I'll take it!

I don't know about 35 yet but I know I had kind of a mental crash when I hit 30. Don't know why because now I'm having the time of my life. I really was low for a couple of weeks though. It just seemed like I had to be a grown up or something.

Every now and then I have a moment where I think something along the lines of:
I'm not old enough to -
a. be the Mom
b. own a house
c. deal with grown up problems

Then I snap back to reality, stop wanting my Mommy, and take care of business. But I'm pretty sure I can't be old enough for all this. How did I get old enough for all of this

I feel like this ALL the time... I'm 33 now, pregnant with my first baby and about once a week I look down at the belly thinking 'how on earth did I get old enough to be a mom?' I'm in a little panic that I now officially have to be the grown-up
