 @ 'Flash"

I love hearing all these happy anniversary stories guys!

My hubby grew up on a dairy farm and has stories of the cows busting thru the fence due to - get this - the school bus honking. Which is weird because they live right next to a railroad crossing and with trains blowing the horn every few hours. Cows :hu I don't know if they ever had an escape due to fireworks.
OFG, I hope a lost, scared jersey cow finds it's way into your yard someday. :D

Oh yea, and I forgot to mention, the day after our "block party" we found out "someone" had set fire to our neighbor's roof! :hide

I enjoy fireworks-if I can't hear them, so you won't see me going to a display.

As for meeting your hubby young, I met my when I was about 13 or 14. He was the younger brother of someone in my church and had come to a game night the teens were having. It was the only time he was ever there.

I used to wonder sometimes whatever happened to him, then met him again at his sister's house when I was 20. I was just a few days shy of 22 when we got married, and we've been married for 28 years now.

Happy Anniversary! I met DH when I was 17 but he wasn't my type and was too old for me anyway...but we became friends, and then best friends...and eventually we actually did become a couple when I was about 20. I've never regretted it:)

Hopefully you had a nice evening with your hubby and got to spend some time with him. It sounds like a bunch of us married or at least met our spouses young.

Heehee, thanks. Bring a spray-on tan too for my pasty skin. :gig Seriously, that's the only way I can get color.
So, welcome to July, huh? It's already a scorcher out there. Wowza!!

I just got a load of hay delivered :ya I'm hoping the goats like it enough that I can order a load for the next cutting. The husband/wife team sure was nice and I enjoyed chatting with them.

I made some feta a couple days ago. It looks really good but I want it to age awhile before I taste it. I'm still not completely sold on goat milk products. (actually it's 99% mental) I made the mozzarella that was in a cheese newsletter last week - and it tastes exactly like the bag of mozzarella that I bought because I was just sure that I could taste the goat in my. Yeah, I'm a big looloo.:p

Other than that, it's weed season. Or as my daughter calls it, "salad for da goats" :gig

OH! Can I confess that I did something totally stupid? When the hay people arrived, they wanted to see the goats. So I showed them and it was fun. But somewhere along the way I set down my wad of cash that was in an envelope. And when it came time to pay I went to where I thought I left it. My daughter came running after me waving the half-eaten envelope :th Yes, I set it where the goats could reach it. Thank God my daughter found it before they got to the money. The bills were slightly chewed at one corner and we all had a laugh after I had a near heart attack. Whew, that was a close one. You cannot trust goats with cash. My daughter saved the day and I'm taking her out for a treat now.

Sounds like something I would do. I am so glad your daughter found the envelope before it was too late.
