It may not be anything to worry about. I know some horses pee will look pink in the snow, and it's not a problem. Maybe it's the same w/the goats.

I can't remember where I read it, but citrus including the peel is supposed to be ok for goats. I have been feeding the peels to mine. I don't particularly care for the stuff that might be sprayed on them, but my goats are doing fine.
My neighbor feeds the goats, but they ask if it is ok first. I did have to ask them not to feed the goats any more bread. They weren't eating it anyway. I was afraid it would get moldy lying on the ground. I think my neighbor goes out and buys baby carrots just for my goats

Thanks FD, that eases my mind ALOT!!!!
I understand the panic!

My neighbors have been feeding my girls cut up whole oranges for a while. As I said, they do ask first. They would feel terrible if anything happens to these babies. I can't even let her know, that we will sell the kids for meat

So, tonight we had our Family Christmas party. Whew! I was so worried it was going to be a mirror of all the past parties. Really I was dreading it. Someone would complain about what they got in the exchange, someones kid would pick on the other one, food spilled, drinks spilled..you know, the typical Family thing! Well....I have to say....it wasn't!!! There were 20 people here, including kids....and everyone got along. :weee Hubby got a bottle of Crown Royal....I got a Quesedea maker? Hmmm, never used one before..but I will give it a shot! LOL There was alot of laughter, food and fun! Pictures passed around from days gone by...and new memories made. :love The house is now fallen quiet...everyone has gone home...and hubby is in bed. Just me and the Christmas tree! All in all it turned out to be a great evening.
Oh, and this morning I had a call from the rescue. Someone was surrendering another pot belly pig. A 7 month old male, altered..only 40 pounds. He is Soooooooooooooooooooooo cute!! Yup, I took him in. He is settled in the barn, with Tulip, who was NOT happy about haveing a new room mate! LOL Im sure she will settle down in a few days....hopeing we will be able to find him a good adoptive home. He is super friendly...like a puppy! :love So, I am going to unwind a bit, then head off to bed.

I am glad that you had such a nice evening with your family!
It can be so hard at Christmas, everyone has expectations.....it is difficult to live up to those expectations.

Hugs!
