Thanks everyone....she is my only grand daughter...we have 5 grandsons....HOWEVER...she is NOT spoiled!
Every time I look at her...it makes me think....

Have you heard of a fart egg? It is a tiny egg chickens or ducks lay sometmes.

Never knew they were called that. I've found some really small eggs when they first start to lay. The first one I found basically had no yolk.

Thats a "wind egg" we usually call them hen farts.

Not a whole lot going on here lately...winter can be so boreing! Split kindling, bring in firewood,empty frozen waterers...gather the egg...( sometimes 2 or 3) talk to the animals while quickly throwing feed to get back in the warm cave. I want to be outside!! I want to build fences, plant my garden and trees...go fishing..and walk in the woods and watch the little critters play and gather food. I want to smell fresh cut grass..and flowers!! COME ON SPRING!!!!!!!!

At this point I'd settle for just having the water bowls not freeze up! But I'm with you!
