I'm totally a slave to my chickerdoodles...sigh...You know how people have a dog or cat or whatever other kind of house pet and they are so attached they can't live with out them??? (supposedly)

Yes in a lot of ways chickens are quite smart. I just want a way to teach them that the strings hanging off of my cut off jean shorts are not little worms for them to grab!

That Frances deserves a roll-away nest! You know one with a slight slope to the floor so her egg rolls away to a little box either behind or under it that the hen can't get to.

If she was my hen she would start looking more and more like a casserole, since she is a brat anyway.
