My husband said the thing that converted him to a chicken talker is how happy they always are. He said "How can you not like talking with them, they are so dumb and happy it is just relaxing!" :D

I'm totally a slave to my chickerdoodles...sigh...You know how people have a dog or cat or whatever other kind of house pet and they are so attached they can't live with out them??? (supposedly)

Watch that Frances ... she may teach the other hens her bad trick. :(

Yes in a lot of ways chickens are quite smart. I just want a way to teach them that the strings hanging off of my cut off jean shorts are not little worms for them to grab! :p :lol:

That Frances deserves a roll-away nest! You know one with a slight slope to the floor so her egg rolls away to a little box either behind or under it that the hen can't get to.

If she was my hen she would start looking more and more like a casserole, since she is a brat anyway.
