Thanks for the beans on toast recipe! I know that you make your own bread, specifically egg bread. Is that what you use for toast?

Yeah, sylvie, what ever bread I've made for the week is what we use. This time we are having egg bread made with 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 white flour.

Beans and toast are also good on herbed bread, pumpernickel rye and 12 grain breads.

Tomorrow is voting day!

Regardless of the banner at the bottom of the ss page - I do not believe most Ohioans will vote yes on issue 3. Because casinos will not bring money into Ohio, only send money out of state to the casino owners.

Tomorrow we start moving to the farmhouse! :clap

Yesterday we got all the large stuff moved. We had dinner at Christian Cafe yesterday - Beefy Macaroni was the main entree.

We found out the former tenent had the natural gas shut off when she moved out on Saturday, instead of putting it in the owner's name. So we have no hot water and no heat. Last night was cold so we were glad we had the microwave and the bedwarmers, and the small space heater with us.

In trying to figure out the light switches at the back door, I turned off the back porch light, and now it won't come back on again. So I will have to talk to the owners to see how it works.

We had toasted bagels with cream cheese and microwaved bacon for breakfast with our instant coffee ( :sick ) this morning.

TR is working today, so I am moving small stuff and getting utilities in our name. I need to start scrubbing so we can get settled. :)

It was very interesting to hear the news this morning. It seems, as sylvie mentioned elsewhere, that many issues passed that will raise property taxes. I wonder where all this money is coming from.....

I have city friends who *know* their foods come in plastic from the grocery. :smack Many of them didn't get the point of the entire pro/con discussion surrounding Issue 2.

I so glad you are finally in.

A farmhouse sounds like a good fit for you. Hope you get your gas turned on soon.

Or, maybe you could just snuggle a little closer to TR! ;)
