keljonma, I have a friend who ended up with the house after her divorce and took in a border. She has had three in 15 years and she now owns her home free and clear. She says it was the best decision she ever made.
Another friend was a border while she went to college. She wanted to live out in the country so she could jog long distance to train for marathons. She loved the arrangement.
I am only relating this as another possible option for you.

Keljonma do you have your house up for sale? Do you own or do you just rent?

No, the house is not up for sale. Houses in this area have been staying on the market for more than a year before getting sold. With the way the market is, we could not get what we owe for the house.
Without getting to personal...how would you move and get out of the house/morgage then??

Haven't read your whole thread. (Missed a lot when I was sick).

Just a thought on your friends offer. What happens if something happens to her? Are you back to square 1? But it could give you some major breathing room and some time to regroup, save some money.

This has got to be a very trying time with lots of emotion and stress involved.

So much to consider and think about. Good luck - I just know everything will work out for the best for you and your family.
