That's a long time for a mechanical pencil!

Two years ago DD was given a pure black lab puppy for her birthday from a friend. They even let her choose her puppy from their litter. She named him Shadow, and this pup went everywhere with her, and liked to sleep at the foot of her bed.

He wasn't completely house trained, so when we went away, if he couldn't go, too, he would wait for us outside. We didn't have any neighbors at the time, so gave no thought to it. When we came home, someone had taken him...left his collar and everything. DD hasn't recovered from that yet. She has pics of her black lab pup in her room, and talks about him quite often.

We took him fishing with us once when he was only a couple months old and he and DD were inseperable as they played in the streams coming from the pond. I've some really cute pics of that...should see if I can dig them up.

Im working today. Not really looking forward to it. Mike sent two emails to me at home yesterday asking me where some files were. So I sent him some ideas, but as of 6:15 pm he still hadnt found them. He had the files last because he was working on quotes for the people involved. So why he asked me what he did with the files - beyond my comprehension. :hu Thursday was the last day I worked, and I didnt even touch any folders because I was working on a mail-out project in another room.
That's probably going to bug you all day, wondering where they went!

Too bad about Buddy. I hope that person treats him well and always wanted a dog like that. :fl

I'd like to make a flap cap. I have a lined wool hat to which I am allergic. I've handled Alpaca items and don't seem to react. I don't like acrylic next to my skin, either. My scarf is acrylic but will go under the collar of my coat. I know I'm trying to justify Alpaca!

Well, good! Now Mike knows he can't function without you. Job security.

I just read that a black bear was seen in your county. The guy said it stole suet and laid under the swing set to leisurely eat it. They usually hit garbage cans, bird feeders and BEE HIVES!!!! I thought of you as soon as I read that!
Have you got a plan for dealing with a potential bear when you get your bees? We've had a couple on our road and I'm certain from the decimated raspberry bushes that we were personally visited. I'm giving the future hive some careful thought. :/
