Hi keljonma, we had some of that rain today, too, and it is quite chilly now!

We're supposed to have 5 days of rain here. :barnie

Hope you had a lovely day!

Temperature is 65, and were supposed to get up to 72 today. Thunderstorms are in the forecast for this afternoon.

Tonight is our Fireproof class. When I see Eileen I have to ask what she is making for dinner for Alpha on Friday night, so I can make some desserts.

I will try to post some pics of friends hen today. We took some when we brought her here. But she is moving around more now. Yesterday she tried to jump up from the laundry/mud room floor to the top of the first step, which might be 8 inches high. She couldnt make it and fell over onto her side. Im really disappointed in friend, who has been gone since last Wednesday and has not yet called once to see if her animals are okay or if I have any questions. I thought friend was supposed to be back home this morning. But I talked to one of her friends at church on Sunday, who said friend has decided to stay until April 30. She is only going to be home long enough to pick up this friend and then go out of town until Monday, to go to Columbus.
Maybe friend knows that her animals are in good hands. Although I would call just to check in and let you know I would be gone longer. It's just the polite thing to do.

I look forward to the pics.

I am so sorry that your friend's hen has died, and I also understand about your dissappointment. DH and I don't trust anyone with our livestock, because if something were to happen to them while in someone else's care, we'd never forgive ourselves and we'd always wonder what really happened? Know what I mean? Plus I'm a worry wart and I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself if I did go on a vacation or a short trip for fear that my animals aren't being properly cared for.

Hopefully you'll hear from your friend soon.

Sorry about the hen, at least her last days were peaceful and happy.
