Kel sprinkle the whole house with plain table salt. It will kill the fleas and be quite safe as well. Plus it is cheaper than chemicals! This really works. Just vacuum well and salt, then the next time or two you vacuum salt again and all should be well.

How wonderful that someone gave you a stove and frig!

Sounds like you are getting settled, I wondered where you had been but assumed that you were up to your eyeballs in boxes :hide

No, Dace, the boxes are actually at shoulder level now!

The guys came over this morning and worked for 3 hours. I fed them baked spiral ham sandwiches, potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, chips, carrot cake and earthquake cake.

We went to Radio Shack and got a new battery for the digital camera that was less than the discounted ones we found online. I need to get internet at the farmhouse so I can stop this library email and ss check spots.

TR is off today and tomorrow. Tomorrow after church he is taking the car back to friend.

That is one lesson that I am SO glad sank into my children.

Anytime my D1 has someone come to work at her house she ALWAYS has some food to offer them. Even a snack or a cold drink makes a difference to a worker. She always gets a good job from them as well! :D

Delia, I am at the library, so I can't post the recipe. No internet at home yet. I need to work on that this week.

Thats ok Kel, I made turkey sandwiches (turkey was forty cents a pound limit two at Walmart-I got 6 nice ones over 3 days), potato salad and baked beans. And they also got pumpkin bread. They sat outside and enjoyed lunch. They said no one had ever offered to feed them before. They were happy! Thats kind of sad.
