I have been sick since last Friday it is a virus. I had a stupid nosebleed off and on for two days! Just another gem of knowledge to pass on around here to my friends on SS! A friend of mine taught me that if you press on the little strip of skin that holds your lip to your gums it will stop your nose bleeds much faster. With kids you can roll up a small piece of gauze or clean cloth and simply pack their top lip while they are resting on their back.

I was pukey too. Oddly, when I went to a walk in clinic the doctor recommended guaifenesin syrup for the nausea. Sounded odd to me, but he said this flu is causing your mucus to become so thick it is clogging up the throat and causing nausea and gagging. I tried it and it worked for me.

I really hope the kids get felling better. What a drag to have happen on your birthday.

It's official......I am so exhausted that I cannot read a calendar. My birthday is tomorrow.

My mom just called and said, your birthday is tomorrow darlin', I do think I remember when I gave birth to you. I SERIOUSLY need a nap.


On a lighter note, the stone is done and I may have electricity tonight but definitely tomorrow!!!!
