Okay, so I decided to go to the river for a swim without my son.....that convinced him to clean up his room REAL QUICKLY!

Well, before I went to the river I had to go to TSC to get dog food.....just get dog food.....just get dog food.....don't look at the new pretty chicks.....just get dog food.....just get dog food.....awwwww crap, I'm looking......just get dog food......just get dog food.....and flock raiser......and 6 new chicks....... :th

Hubby is ready to kill me. :hide

I am going to a swap Saturday and trying to sell the last 6 ducklings and trying to get rid of my stupid egg hiding or no laying EE hen. I also may take my barred rock hen but I do kind of like her looks.....I only wanted a couple of new laying hens......I got 2 EEs, 2 red comets, and 2 black australorps. I'll probably keep the australorps (which will probably end up being two roos ) in which case I guess I would see how the EEs do. Didn't really want the red comets but the kids wanted one of each....each. :hide

Stopped by the store on the way home and got some granny smith apples to make another apple cake tomorrow. Gonna do some homemade pizza tomorrow night too.... somebody gave Chad a whole bag full of really pretty homegrown tomatoes....mmmmm homemade pizza sauce with some sliced on top.....YUMMY in my TUMMY!!!

hahaha....sucker!

A swim in a river sounds fun....got any pics of said river?

Homemade pizza sounds awesome, we haven't done that since early spring when we went gluten free....although I do have a GF crust mix in the pantry. Oh yeah, I forgot we made one and it pretty much sucked.
:(

I really need to find a good pizza dough recipe.

Yeah yeah, I'm a sucker.

Today I finished up 3 loads of laundry, made another apple cake but instead of raisins this time I used some whole cranberries I had in the freezer and it is wonderful, made homemade sauce for the homemade pizza I'm gonna make for dinner, and me and the kids have done some flash cards on sight words (we made up sentences with them), space, and us presidents.

Hubby has to go clean the old house tonight and then hopefully we will be done. Our realtor wants to come take pics tomorrow to get it on the house. I have to sign some paperwork too. Been trying to keep the kids away from there so they won't get "homesick".

Chad surprised me last night, the people he did the seminar for this weekend gave him not one but two 10x10 canopies!!! We had been talking about getting one to use on the back deck since it isn't covered and that way if we needed to take it anywhere else we could.

Maybe you could try the zucchini cheese crust recipe someone posted here a while back.

I can't give you a good recipe but be on the lookout for FROZEN GF crusts. Especially ones made with rice flour and corn starch. They are pretty good!

I REALLY wish you lived nearby. There is a company called Olivia's Oven and they made WONDERFUL pizza crusts in addition to other lovely things. There is a small chain pizza shop called Waldo's Pizza that specialize in old fashioned honest to goodness pizza (you name a topping and they have it PLUS 150 kinds of beer and even GF beverages!) and Olivia's oven supplies Waldo's with those divine GF pizza crusts! All I have to do is make a 40 minute drive and I can actually go out and eat a DELICIOUS Gluten Free pizza! They even have GF desserts.

OK so now I found ONE reason to like the city.

Cute pic's!!! It the first one the white chick in the back is the troublemaker. Wifezilla pointed that out to me. I have a turkey who did the same thing.

Side note, Dace my sil buys some frozen pizza crust that is gluten free I will write down the name next time I go over. They also have several favorite GF products they are recommending to friends. I know there is a bake mix called Pamela's, they use fr everything, and a chocolate cake mix to die for called Sof'ella. The Dad named it after his daughters. Sophie and Stella I think.
