I would have never thought of that. Wonder if the crooks know to check there for a spare key?

I would think it would take too long for a crook to get the screws off and get the key without getting noticed.

The good thing about it is that if you are in a parking lot somewhere you can almost always find a coin lying on the ground to get the screw off in a pinch.

Hubby went out and saw 5 deer this evening but 2 were behind him and he couldn't get a clear shot and 3 came around in front of him but wouldn't get out of the tree line for a shot. Dang-it-all.

Good news is that we don't have to cut up a deer in 20 degree temps with a howling wind :D

Always gotta look for the upside, right?

Sewed 2 reversible tote bags in some leftover xmas fabrics I had in my stash for the ladies that do story time at the library for xmas. I put 3 ziploc bags of homemade bath salts in each tote bag. I made the tote bags big enough to hold books or papers and stuff.

Gotta go over to a friend's house tomorrow to exchange gifts for the kids. Hubby wants to go to the old house to check everything out before the home inspection Wednesday. We may sneak into the back yard and cut down a christmas tree while we're there :p

Well, I went to bed with good intentions....I was gonna try to process some of the meaties today. I was greeted this morning with this

It is like 20-something degrees, snow still on the ground, the chicken tractor is FROZEN to the ground.

Maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow...it's supposed to get up to 35. Much better chicken processing weather, don't ya think? :th

 I like your little guy blowing away - that's the wind we had yesterday. It was awful! It's still breezy here, but not as bad.

I know how ya feel. The door to my pregnant rabbit was froze to the frame. It took me 10 minutes to get it undone (not a lie).
